The magical adventures continues for the cute blue creatures which will be popping up in the busy city of New York in the upcoming live-action/CGI animated "The Smurfs"!
When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
Starring Neil Patrick Harris, SofÃa Vergara, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, Tim Gunn, and featuring the voices of Katy Perry (Smurfette), Anton Yelchin (Clumsy Smurf), Alan Cumming (Gutsy Smurf), B.J. Novak (Baker Smurf), Paul Reubens (Jokey Smurf), George Lopez ( Grouchy Smurf), Jonathan Winters (Papa Smurf), Fred Armisen (Brainy Smurf), Kenan Thompson (Greedy Smurf), John Oliver (Vanity Smurf), Adam Wylie (Panicky Smurf), Jeff Foxworthy (Handy Smurf) and Wolfgang Puck (Chef Smurf).
Directed by Raja Gosnell and it will the theaters on August 3, 2011.
