Gwen Stefani is putting her blessings to good us as she showed her generous heart by donating $1 million to Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund in the relief and recovery effort in Japan.
Stefani said, “I’ve been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.”
The No Doubt singer will also conduct an auction fundraising event in Los Angeles and she also designed a special limited edition Harajuku lovers t-shirt that you can purchase at NoDoubt’s website. 100% of the proceeds will go to Japan relief efforts.
