Here's the teaser trailer for the upcoming Philippine remake of the popular Mexican telenovela "Maria la del Barrio" starring team up of Enchong Dee and the lovely Erich Gonzales.

In this series, Erich will play the character of María, a scavenger who will fall in love with a rich guy, Luis Fernando (Enchong).

"Maria la del Barrio" was originally aired in 1995 to 1996. It starred popular Mexican actress Thalia and Fernando Colunga.

BTW, Thalia is currently expecting her second child.
