Sid Lucero & Mikael Daez are set for Marian Rivera's "Amaya"

GMA-7 finally announced that award-winning actor Sid Lucero and model Mikael Daez are the two leading men for Marian Rivera's highly buzz epic series "Amaya".

Sid Lucero decided to return back to the Kapuso network after his ABS-CBN stint which gave him drama projects like "Ligaw Na Bulaklak", "Gaano Kita Kamahal", "Dahil May Isang Ikaw", "Magkano ang Iyong Dangal?", "Habang May Buhay", at "Alyna".

No stranger to GMA-7 grounds, Sid's early acting projects are "Narito ang Puso Ko", "Hanggang Kailan'=", "Darna (2005)", and the fantasy series "Etheria".

He was previously nominated for Best Actor in the 38th International Emmy for his performance in "Dahil May Isang Ikaw".

Model Mikael Daez, who is under Mercator Model and Talent Agency, will be facing his biggest challenge to his young career. 

Before "Amaya", the chemistry of Marian Rivera and Mikael will be tested first in the horror-comedy series "Ang Spooky Mo Presents Bampirella".

Other "Amaya" cast includes Glaiza de Castro, Gina Alajar, Lani Mercado, Gardo Versoza, Rochelle Pangilinan, Kristoffer Martin, AJ Dee, Rocky Salumbides, Ana Capri, Roy Alvarez, at Buboy Villar.
