Legal Action against an Opera about Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith's Estate is planning to pursue legal action against a new opera based on the life of the late bombshell Anna Nicole Smith. The said performance titled "Anna Nicole" premieres this Thursday (Feb 17) at London’s Royal Opera House.


Larry Birkhead tells TMZ that legal action will be done. He claimed that the producers never contacted Anna's estate or him. They also didn't offer Larry an advance screening. Larry says the opera is like "a sleazy tabloid."

British composer Mark-Anthony Turnage and lyricist Richard Thomas created this musical and playing the controversial blonde is Dutch soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek.
