Billy Ray Cyrus is working on building up his family after his “explosive, and unintentionally so” statements over Miley Cyrus’ behavior and how fame "destroyed" his family in a recent GQ interview.
The 49 year-old actor said in a statement, "It is very important to me to work on mending my family right now."
"My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier. It is all a learning process, and we thank everyone for their support and respect of our privacy as we sort through very important family issues."
Billy Ray is in the middle of a divorce procedure with Miley's mother Tish Cyrus. He also claimed he was "scared" for Miley and he felt that she is receiving bad advice from the people surrounding her.
