R&B singer Ne-Yo will now be singing lullaby to his new born princess!
Ne-Yo's girlfriend Monyetta Shaw gave birth to her first child Friday night (November 12) in Atlanta, more than a month earlier than expected.
The named the baby Madilyn Grace Smith. Ne-Yo said, "I've been in love before but this feels like nothing I've ever felt. Like I'm in love for the first time."
He also announced her excitement via twitter, "Much luv to my twit fam and everybody showin' luv to my new addition!! She's healthy and happy. Feels like I'm in luv for the first time." and added, "Welcoming that lil' girl to the world last night defined for me what "willing to kill and die for" truly means. My world, my life,all hers".
The 28 year-old singer reportedly was at a charity event when he got the message and he quickly rushed to the hospital.
Ne-Yo's brand new album "Libra Scale" is due out on Nov. 22.
