Maja Salvador faces the challenges on and off the track field as an athletic runner in Paul Soriano's indie film "Thelma".
The young actress is being trained by Survivor Philippines castaway Elma Muros, who is a track and field athlete champion. She was also hailed as the SOUTHEAST ASIAN Games heptathlon queen in 1997.
Other cast include Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, Eliza Pineda and Elma Muros.
Eying target date for release on March 2011.
