MTV's T.J. Lavin In Coma After Dirt Bike Crash

BMX star T.J. Lavin was hospitalized and put on a medically induced coma after a failed stunt resulting to a severe  crash during a dirt qualifying jump at a Dew Tour event in Las Vegas, Nevada. (October 14)

Lavin, host of MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" was attempting a "nac nac" combination when couldn't return his feet to the pedals and loss of control of his bike upon landing. He was thrown from the bike and knocked unconscious. Lavin suffered a shattered right wrist and broken ribs.
