Kathryn Bernardo & Julia Montes in “Mara Clara” Remake

ABS-CBN's Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes are now facing a tough challenge in their young acting career. The two young stars will headline the remake of the 1992 hit drama series "Mara Clara".

14 year-old Kathryn Bernardo will play the role of a good-hardworking daughter “Mara” while 15 year-old Julia Montes as her envious rival “Clara”.

Award winning actress Judy Ann Santos (Mara) and Gladys Reyes (Clara) are the original leads stars of the series (1992-1997). It was also adapted to the big screen via Star Cinema in 1996.
