Actor Jeffrey Jones pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to update his sex offender registration in L.A. County Superior Court on Tuesday (September 28).
According to TMZ, "Jones has been sentenced to 3 years formal probation and must complete 250 hours of community service in a roadside clean-up program."
In 2003, Jones pleaded no contest after he paid a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit photos.
Jeffrey Jones is known for playing the angry Principal Rooney in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
