Illeana Douglas wants restraining order against a “mentally ill” woman

“Cape Fear” actress Illeana Douglas is seeking the help of the court against a “mentally ill” woman. She filed a restraining order against a co-worker’s wife, who was recently arrested for brutally attacking her husband “with a baseball bat, a chair, [and] a mallet”.

The said woman is currently released from jail and Illeana Douglas felt that her life is now threatened.

In the legal documents, Illeana says the woman is “mentally ill” and mistakenly believes, “I am the reason she was arrested” — and has vowed since her release from the slammer to “spend the rest of her life ‘getting me.’”

Illeana claims that the crazy woman has threatened her mother and co-workers and promised to burn her house down and completely ruin her career.

Illeana is asking the judge to order the woman to stay at least 500 yards away from her.
