Alexander Skarsgard is excited on film project "Battleship"

Alexander Skarsgard is very excited on his next film project "Battleship" will begin production in Hawaii next week.

MTV asked the True Blood actor about film, he said, “I don’t really think about that very much. It’s quite different from the board game, obviously. Pete is a great guy — the director, Peter Berg — and I’m just excited to start it, I really am.”

The upcoming action-adventure "Battleship" is based from Hasbro's naval combat board game.

It will hit the theaters on May 25, 2012,
