Guitarist Saul Hudson popularly known as Slash has filed for divorce from his wife Perla Ferrar at the LA County Superior Court on Monday (August 30), ending almost nine years of marriage.
According to TMZ, Slash cites irreconcilable differences and he is seeking the joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, London (8) and Cash (6).
It was also reported that the couple's separation is not amicable but in the part of Slash camp, their saying otherwise.
Slash's rep tells PEOPLE, “I can confirm the divorce papers were filed and from Slash’s perspective the split is amicable."
The former Guns N' Roses guitarist and her wife has no pre-nuptial agreement and they tied the knot in October of 2001. The date of separation is listed as July 15, 2010.
