The luck of Tim Urban is finally over! He failed to received enough votes to continue his journey in season 9 of American Idol. His elimination was announced at the end of "Idol Gives Back" fund-raising special.
Tim's uninspired performance of "Better Days" during the show's inspirational song-themed week puts him at the bottom three with Casey James and Aaron Kelly.
Next week's "American Idol" will be mentored by Shania Twain.
