Super Bowl XLIV breaks ratings record history

Super Bowl XLIV is the "Avatar" of television as it breaks the TV record history. The Super Bowl battle between New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts is the most watched TV program in history!

Nielsen estimates that the game drew 106.5 million viewers as the Saints beat the Colts (31-17).

The CBS' coverage of Sunday's Super Bowl surpassed the 1983 M*A*S*H finale with 106 million viewers.
