Fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead at his home in London (February 11) and reportedly his depression towards his mother's death last week cause him to commit suicide. He was 40 years-old. British Sun reports that McQueen hanged himself.
Kate Moss issued a statement via her rep., "Kate is shocked and devastated at the tragic loss of her dear friend Lee McQueen. Her thoughts are with his family at this sad time. We would also ask that Kate's privacy is respected."
Lady Gaga recently wore McQueen's spring 2010 lobster-claw shoes in her "Bad Romance" music video.
