It's a strikeout not a home run for former MLB hard hitter Mark McGwire as he admitted that he used steroids when he broke the home run record back in 1998. (January 11)
His record of 70 home runs in 1998 was surpassed by Barry Bonds' 73 homers in 2001.
Many are looking on Barry Bonds if he also on the bandwagon. Many are doubting.
McGwire apologized and said in a statement, "I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake."
"It was a wrong thing what I did. I totally regret it. I just wish I was never in that era."
