Guest judge Katy Perry became the female version of Simon Cowell as she delivered some not so nice words to contestant Chris Golightly at the American Idol Season 9 Los Angeles audition.
Even though Chris Golightly has great story to talk about, Katy Perry interrupts Kara and said, “This is not a Lifetime movie, sweetheart. He has an amazing story, but you have to have a talent.”
At the end, Chris got two small “yes” and two big “yes”.
