Chicago Bears star Gaines Adams passed away at a young age of 26 in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was rushed to the Self Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead at approximately 9 am. (January 17)
Greenwood County Coroner James T. Coursey released his preliminary autopsy and he indicated that Adams died of cardiac arrest caused by an enlarged heart.
