Philippines' music icons Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo, and Danny Javier popularly known as "The Apo Hiking Society (APO)" announced that this year will be their last hurrah and the group is now ready to retire after 40 years of overwhelming contribution to the industry.
The sad news was announced during a press conference (January 13) for their final Valentine's Day show entitled "Last Valentine's nAPO Nila" on February 13 at the SMX Convention Center. Scheduled concerts are also set until May 2010.
The group was formed in 1969 and they have released 27 best-selling albums including more than 40 hits which are now being revive by other young artist.
