DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) who made headline last year after surviving a plane crash was found dead in his New York City apartment, August 28. He was 36.

The cause of death is still unknown and allegedly drug paraphernalia (prescription pill bottles and "crack pipe") was found in the apartment.

According to TMZ, DJ AM had been "completely devastated" over his breakup with girlfriend, Hayley Wood and he is still dealing with post-traumatic stress from the plane crash.

John Mayer announced a challenge via Twitter to TMZ's Harvey Levin that if TMZ could find his mug shot, Mayer would donate $25,000 to a charity of his choice.

John tweeted, "Challenge: if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mugshot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice."

On their fifth season, the nationwide auditions will be launch on August 30 at the GMA Network Drive in Quezon City and a launch party will be held in S.O.P.

Simultaneous release of application forms will be given in SM Cebu, SM Davao, SM Iloilo and Stadia in Dagupan.

Requirement for the Audition:

1. Open to all male or female applicants, 16-23 years old, Filipino citizen
2. talent in singing, dancing and acting
3. Applicants will bring an original and photocopy of their birth certificate
4. Whole body and close up photos

Talking about experiencing all the things of a being a mother, reality stars Kendra Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian expresses that they want to breastfeed despite having breast implants.

In a joint interview via Us Weekly, Kendra said, "I was so scared that I wasn't going to be able to nurse that when I saw stuff come out of my nipples the other day, I was like, I can breast-feed? And I asked my doctor, who said, 'That's fine, but it's not milk yet!'"

Kourtney added, "They say usually you can [breast-feed with implants]. I want to."

Fall Out Boy’s lead singer Patrick Stump was arrested on a traffic warrant for driving without a license in Hollywood, August 25.

The 25 year-old musician posted $15,000 bail and was released from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.

According to court records, Stump failed to appear on a misdemeanor driving without a valid driver's license case in Beverly Hills in June 2007. A judge issued a warrant for his arrest at the time.

Chris Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and 6 months of hard labor at the Commonwealth Catholic Charities in Richmond, VA.

He must attend 52-week domestic violence course and he must stay 100 yards away from Rihanna, unless they are both at an entertainment-related event, in which case he must stay 10 yards away (5 years).

Chris can’t own a dangerous weapon and subject to search and seizure. Approval is needed if Brown will leave the country.

Brown must pay $2,500 in restitution and another $2,500 in probation expenses. He must also pay a $30 criminal conviction fee and $400 that goes into a domestic violence fund. Very small amount!!

Elizabeth Banks is closely inking the deal to star in the upcoming film "Next Three Days" opposite Russell Crowe, based on the French thriller "Pour Elle".

According to Variety, Pall Haggis is directing, writing and producing "Next Three Days," which centers on an ordinary couple who find themselves in an unthinkable situation and have to make desperate choices that will test the limits of love. Haggis and Michael Nozik will produce "The Next Three Days" through their production entity Highway 61 Films, along with Marc Missonnier and Olivier Delbosc of Fidelite Films.

I hope the unthinkable scenario will really kick in this movie.

Eddie Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville is now ballistic as she slammed her husband.

Brandi said via Us, "Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker. And he has been an absentee father."

"Eddie's displays of poor taste have hurt our two children," she goes on. "Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that 'unfair fishbowl.'"

Brandi decided to called it quits and dumped Eddie after she discovered that her husband is still seeing singer LeAnn Rimes, four months after the affair was discovered.

After they found anesthetic Propofol in Michael Jackson’s body, the L.A. County coroner ruled his death as homicide. Criminal charges are now expected to be filed against the Michael's Doctor Conrad Murray.

According to Dr. Conrad Murray’s search warrant affidavit filed in Houston.

The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM. Murray said the valium didn’t work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam — an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam — a sedative.

Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug. Dr. Murray reportedly told cops 10 minutes after administering Propofol … he “left Jackson’s side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about 2 minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing.”

Dr. Murray says he began CPR and at some point ran downstairs and asked the chef to send up Prince Jackson, the eldest son, then Murray continued performing CPR. Dr. Murray says he noticed that Jackson wasn’t breathing at around 11 AM. He was then on the cell phone for 47 minutes with 3 separate calls, from 11:18 to 12:05. The 911 call came in at 12:21 PM …. a much longer delay than originally reported.

Dr. Murray told cops other docs had administered Propofol to Jackson, including Las Vegas Dr. David Adams. Dr. Murray said he was at a cosmetologist’s office where Dr. Adams gave Jackson Propofol.

Definitely they have strong evidence to charged Dr. Conrad Murray with those drugs that he gave to Michael.

Lindsay Lohan already planned to move in to a new safe-comfortable place and leave her current home but before it happen her home got burglarized.

Lindsay's manager-mom Dina Lohan confirmed the said incident, "It's true. The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed," Dina says. "Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."

And Dina adds, Lindsay was planning to move, even before it occurred: "Ali and Linds just left me in New York, and left people in charge to pack, as we are moving her to a safer place."

According to TMZ, three men were captured by surveillance video breaking into Lindsay's house in the Hollywood Hills.

The police released statement about break in.

“All we can confirm is that we are investigating a possible break in at the residence and we still have officers on the scene. We got a call shortly before 7 a.m. this morning and it’s still under investigation. No arrests have been made.”

With the illegal activity on Eric Dane's threesome video, LAPD detectives confirm that their in the process of investigating the sex tape featuring Eric Dane aka "McSteamy", his wife Rebecca Gayheart and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche.

According Us, "LAPD stated that a DVD was given to them by an "unnamed source" on July 30, 2009. 'According to the source, the DVD contained images that could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity.'"

Still determining if a crime was committed and suddenly it leaked online. The DVD also "included archived articles and photographs of porn stars and formally convicted madams, which could readily be found over the internet."

Eric's lawyer Marty Singer recently released a statement, "This is simply a private, consensual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public."

Jay-Z's bodyguard who throws a tripod into the sea own by a Croatian photographer who won’t leave them alone has escaped jail time.

According to TMZ, "Croatian law enforcement said that there will be no jail time for J's hired muscle, who had assault and destroying personal property charges filed against him after a tussle with a local reporter earlier this week.

The bodyguard will have to pay a fine -- and we're told the police will not pursue further legal action."

As the Philippine National election campaign fever is just around the corner, Actor-TV host Edu Manzano has decided to resigned as chairman of the Optical Media Board (OMB).

It was confirmed by Deputy Presidential Spokesman Anthony Golez and he said that Manzano gave three reasons for resignation: “consider other avenues of public service,” “must attend to personal tasks” and “help in the anti-child pornography campaign.”

Many are now speculating that Edu is now considering an elective post in 2010 (Senate seat).

Before Edu filed his resignation, NEDA chief Ralph Recto also resigned for preparation of his Senatorial bid.

The funny thing is that the two are the former (Edu) and current husband (Ralph) of award-winning actress-Governor Vilma Santos.

"Only You" actress Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano decided to split up and reason of the breakup is still unknown.

The splitsville news was reported by veteran entertainment journalist Ricky Lo via his Funfare column.

“I still don’t know why,” Luis’ mom Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos texted Funfare when asked about it. “I don’t meddle in Luis’ personal life. Up to now, he hasn’t talked to me about it.”

Robin Wright Penn has decided again that she is better off being single as she filed for divorce from her husband-actor Sean Penn citing once again their "irreconcilable differences".

The legal papers which is filed in Marin County, Calif. on August 12 stated that they have agreed on the shared custody of their minor son and the division of all property.

This is now their third attempt, Sean initially filed for divorce in December 2007, but his petition was later dismissed. Wright Penn filed her own paperwork but in April 2008, the couple's divorce petition was dismissed at their request.

After his released last April due to lack of enough evidence to pursue the sexual-assault charges, the former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva was arrested again at his north Hollywood home for allegedly sexually assaulting four women. (August 18)

And now this time, Da Silva was charged with eight felony counts of assault which includes four counts of forcible rape, two counts of assault with intent to commit rape and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The alleged victims were aspiring dancers between the ages of 20 and 26. The said assaults occurred between August 2002 and March 2009.

It was confirmed by her publicist, “We can confirm she is pregnant. Celine and Rene [Angelil]” are very happy.”

TNA Wrestler Kurt Angle was arrested for allegedly stalking and harassing a female wrestler-girlfriend who had filed a protective order against him.

Kurt's girlfriend Trenesha Biggers, aka TNA’s Rhaka Khan filed a protection from abuse order.

Shortly thereafter, the woman reported to police that she was at a Starbucks on the internet, when she claims she saw Angle stalking her.

Police pulled over Angle and they searched his vehicle. wpxi reports that Angle was driving on a suspended license. Police also found a capped syringe and two vials of "Hygetropin," otherwise known as HGH. Angle told police he had a legal prescription for the drugs.

Angle was charge with driving while operating privilege is suspended, prohibited acts-possession, harassment and prohibited acts.

Many thought that her guesting in TV5' Shall We Dance is the start for former sexy actress Pia Moran to be noticed again and probably Moran's showbiz comeback but her problems with drugs still continue.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a drug raid n Maligaya Park, Novaliches Friday night and they arrested 10 suspected drug pushers-user including Pia Moran.

Moran denies her involvement in the alleged drug trade in the area, saying that she was only there to pick up a cellular phone she pawned.

Moran is reportedly in detention with a recommendation that she will undergo drug rehabilitation.

Her official site announced that Jordin Sparks will join the second North American leg of the tour. Sparks will perform on the U.S. portion of the trek including dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit, Chicago and more before concluding on September 26 & 27 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.

I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it. I am going through a process, trying to heal. I am in denial, because I don't know how to handle it. I don't know what to do or say. GMA artist Aljur Abrenica is being praise as one of the fast rising young dramatic actor but his achievement is being overshadowed by the "acts of lasciviousness" charges filed against him by a 15 year-old teenage girl.

After months of investigation, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has transmitted a copy of the complaint to the Department of Justice with a recommendation to prosecute Abrenica.

Aljur's lawyer Atty. June Ambrosio released a statement about the NBI's recommendation.

"The NBI was just following standard operational legal procedure when it forwarded the case of Aljur Abrenica to the DOJ. NBI receives the complaint, investigates and forwards it to the DOJ or to the concerned prosecutor's office, which is the proper office to determine 'probable cause.'

"It is therefore erroneous to report that the NBI has found probable cause in the case and to insinuate that there is a strong case against Aljur.

"The DOJ, after preliminary hearing, will determine if there is enough basis to charge the respondent or dismiss the case altogether.

"In the wake of this development, let it be put on record that Aljur is ready to face his accuser and answer the charges against him in the DOJ as soon as we receive a copy of the subpoena, along with the affidavits of the complainant and her witnesses.

"I am confident that my client will be able to clear his name on this matter."

GMA will try the on-screen chemistry of Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos in the Philippine remake of the Korean hit "Stairway to Heaven".

Months of speculations on who will be Dingdong's leading lady and many names popped up like Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos and many more... Dingdong is playing the role of “Cholo”, originally done by Kwon Sang-woo.

It was previously confirmed by a GMA executive, the role of "Jodi" goes to Rhian Ramos. It is originally done by Choi Ji Woo in the original-Korean Version.

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi is sad and shocked over Paula Abdul’s sudden departure from American Idol this week and she is hoping Paula will “reconsider”.

“I can’t get over it. Completely shocked,” Kara said during an interview on KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest on Friday. “It’s such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants.”

Seems no stranger in using knives (twin kukhri) especially playing her role as Alice for Resident Evil movies, actress Milla Jovovich shared that she prefers playing her weapon collections or doing martial arts than traditional toys.

She said: "I have so many weapons at home. It's not like I sit at home twirling knives, but I've always been into handling weapons. As a kid I liked ninja warriors, not dolls. I have some kukris. They are one-handed knives and a bit like machetes, very vicious instruments with a curved blade. They are used for hacking and I love them because they are so versatile. You can really get into the meat of an animal, slice cucumbers and kill zombies - all in one day."

Bringing her passion into her professional life, stunts are the things she like in making movies.

"I get a thrill out of doing dangerous stunts. In 'A Perfect Getaway' I have to steer a kayak close to sharp rocks, miles off the coast of Puerto Rico. It's dangerous - there's a very high tide and if my boat tips over I'll go face-first on to the rocks. It's so gruelling trying to get this kayak to go where I want it to go.
"Then I have a vicious cat fight with a girl who is trying to kill me. We have knives and we're hitting and punching each other on the edge of a cliff, rolling around in the dust.

Here's a first look via EW of Salma Hayek wearing a beard for her upcoming movie "Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant", due out October 23.

Hayek played the role of Madame Truska, the hirsute woman in a traveling freak show and girlfriend of the titular vampire (John C. Reilly).

John Hughes who helm the 80's American teen films The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, died from a heart attack on Thursday August 6. He is 59 year-old.

According to his spokesman, he suffered a heart attack during a morning walk while in New York City.

As a writer, Hughes wrote the screenplay for 1990's Home Alone, its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Maid in Manhattan and many more.. His last film as a director was 1991's Curly Sue.

Disney Tween Miley Cyrus was granted a temporary restraining order against the creepy 53-year-old stalker Mark McLeod after she was caught at the set of her latest movie, The Last Song.

According to TMZ, the court documents ordered Mark McLeod to "shall not harass, threaten, molest, contact or attempt to contact, or in any other manner interfere with Cyrus, any member of her family, her friends, and fellow employees."

Mark McLeod told the police he was secretly engaged to the 16-year-old star and receiving "secret messages" from Miley through her Hannah Montana TV show.

Confirmed by her publicist, 35 year-old Armani underwear image model will make a “one-off appearance” as a guest judge but will not commit as a permanent judge because she wants to focus on her fashion line.

The big news came after the departure of Paula Abdul who announced via her twitter page that she won’t be returning for the new season.

The said new nude photos apparently is not new. It is belong to same set of naked photos which was leaked in 2007.

According to OK!, "One clue that these latest pics aren’t exactly current: You can see in the reflection that Vanessa appears to be using a Motorola Razr phone as her camera of choice. And no celebrity of Vanessa’s caliber has carried a Razr in at least three years!"
