The 27 year-old teacher who also authored two books said, “It wasn’t something I’d always dreamed to do. But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change.”

Still in a limbo if Angelina Jolie will agree to return for the "Wanted" sequel.

Anne Thompson says that "right now they are sitting on pins and needles waiting for word to come back from Angelina Jolie, who is reading the new Wanted 2 script."

The newest star of GMA's primetime TV Carla Abellana of the drama series "Rosalinda" is the newest co-host in the fifth edition of the GMA's reality-based artista search (over-all talent competition) "StarStruck". Formally announced in SOP, the 23 year-old actress replaces Jolina Magdangal.

Travis Barker on DJ AM's death: "My brother is gone"

Travis Barker of Blink 182 has delivered a message of mourning via his twitter page over the death of his friend DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein).

Travis tweeted, “Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had. I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being. Rest In Peace my brother, this really fucks me up.”

Travis and DJ AM were both survivors of a plane crash last year.

America’s Best Dance Crew’s Layla Kayleigh is the latest celebrity to promote PETA's awareness campaign in stopping product tests on animals. As the ad reads: "Animal Testing Breaks Hearts".

In her sexy-cute advertisement, Layla plays a sexy mouse as she don a pink tail and mouse ears while wearing a sizzling sexy bra and undies.

Unnecessary animal testing, Layla said, "I don't think people are purposely buying cosmetics and household products that are tested on animals. I just don't think they think twice. … It really takes such a small thing to make such big impact, you know, and I feel like the more people get involved, the more it can make a difference."

The always wonderful Troy Jensen did my makeup!! This shoot was done the day I left for Africa. I really love the transformation and the clothes were amazing!!! This has got to be one of the most unique shoots I've ever done! Not sure I'll ever go for a permanent short cut, but it definitely works for this shoot."

Confirmed by their rep., the two have been dating since November 2008 after the 26 years-old actress broke up with Canadian singer Michael Buble.

DJ AM found dead; He was 36

DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) who made headline last year after surviving a plane crash was found dead in his New York City apartment, August 28. He was 36.

The cause of death is still unknown and allegedly drug paraphernalia (prescription pill bottles and "crack pipe") was found in the apartment.

According to TMZ, DJ AM had been "completely devastated" over his breakup with girlfriend, Hayley Wood and he is still dealing with post-traumatic stress from the plane crash.

DJ AM’s last tweet, August 25: “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.”

Talking about his plane crash incident, DJ AM is seeking at least $20 million in damages against different companies that caused this incident.

Kristin Chenoweth - American Idol guest judge

Another celebrity to fill the vacant spot in American Idol panel is Pushing Daisies star Kristin Chenoweth. She is the latest name to be revealed as American Idol guest judge.

According to People, She will "join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi for the Orlando auditions later this week."

A certified Broadway artist, best-known roles includes her role as Sally Brown in Broadway's You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and her role as Glinda in Broadway's Wicked.

Other guest judge: Neil Patrick Harris, Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Joe Jonas, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson.

TMZ got John Mayer's mugshot; $25,000 deal

John Mayer announced a challenge via Twitter to TMZ's Harvey Levin that if TMZ could find his mug shot, Mayer would donate $25,000 to a charity of his choice.

John tweeted, "Challenge: if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mugshot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice."

TMZ prevailed, they got his mug shot and it was taken on May 26, 2001 when John was arrested in Atlanta for driving on a suspended license.

True to his words, John Mayer released some dough. He split the 25k to pet orphans fund and Ace of Hearts.

"StarStruck" nationwide auditions starts August 30

GMA's reality-based artista search (over-all talent competition) "StarStruck" will explore again to find the next big star.

On their fifth season, the nationwide auditions will be launch on August 30 at the GMA Network Drive in Quezon City and a launch party will be held in S.O.P.

Simultaneous release of application forms will be given in SM Cebu, SM Davao, SM Iloilo and Stadia in Dagupan.

Requirement for the Audition:

1. Open to all male or female applicants, 16-23 years old, Filipino citizen
2. talent in singing, dancing and acting
3. Applicants will bring an original and photocopy of their birth certificate
4. Whole body and close up photos
5. Applicants below 18 years old should bring written parental consent and their parents ID.

Talking about experiencing all the things of a being a mother, reality stars Kendra Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian expresses that they want to breastfeed despite having breast implants.

In a joint interview via Us Weekly, Kendra said, "I was so scared that I wasn't going to be able to nurse that when I saw stuff come out of my nipples the other day, I was like, I can breast-feed? And I asked my doctor, who said, 'That's fine, but it's not milk yet!'"

Kourtney added, "They say usually you can [breast-feed with implants]. I want to."

Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian are dealing with their first pregnancy and both are due in December.

Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump Arrested (mugshot)

Fall Out Boy’s lead singer Patrick Stump was arrested on a traffic warrant for driving without a license in Hollywood, August 25.

The 25 year-old musician posted $15,000 bail and was released from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.

According to court records, Stump failed to appear on a misdemeanor driving without a valid driver's license case in Beverly Hills in June 2007. A judge issued a warrant for his arrest at the time.

Lee Young-ae tied the knot with an IT businessman in the US

Korean actress Lee Young-ae, who is popularly known as Jang Geum in the hit series Jewel in The Palace tied the knot to Korean-American businessman in an intimate secret wedding ceremony in the United States (August 24). Only close friends and family were invited to celebrate the couple's union.

Keeping it private, the only details about Lee Young-ae's husband is that he is working in the field of IT and identified only as Mr. Jung.

Expressing her apologies to the fans for not being able to announce her marriage through an official press conference, Lee said, "I truly thank all the fans who have supported me and given me love through the years, as well as those in the entertainment industry. In a short while, I will pay you my formal respects."

Neil Patrick Harris will surely deliver some funny comments as he is now being tapped as guest judge in American Idol.

FOX has confirmed that the How I Met Your Mother star joined Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and Randy Jackson on day two of Idol auditions in Dallas, TX this afternoon.
