The vampire romance of Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" received an overwhelming box office record as it conquered the single day record earning $72.7 million.
It raked in $140.7 million over the weekend, it almost overtake Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” with a record of $158.4 million in 2008 and "Spider-man 3" with $151 million.
"New Moon" is now the third top-grossing weekend box office earner.

The Twilight Saga is awesome I have to give it to Stephenie Meyer for writing some wonderful work.It's hard to believe that the movie could make make that much money In such short time.
