Gorgeous actress Kristen Bell has been cast opposite Christina Aguilera in Screen Gems' musical drama "Burlesque."
The former Heroes star will be also working with Cher and Stanley Tucci.
Aguilera plays an ambitious small-town girl with a big voice who finds success in a neo-burlesque club reminiscent of the nightclub in Bob Fosse's "Cabaret." Tucci will play the manager of the Sunset Boulevard club and the best friend and confidante of Tess (Cher), a former dancer who takes the young girl under her wing.

According to THR, "Bell will play Nikki, the loose-cannon lead dancer and main attraction at the club who spirals out of control when Aguilera's character suddenly gets the spotlight."Burlesque will be Aguilera's first major role in a feature film and it will be helm by Steve Antin.
