Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty with two felony charges - assault and making criminal threats in the alleged Feb. 8 beating of his girlfriend Rihanna.
At L.A. County criminal courthouse, Brown was accompanied by his lawyer Mark Geragos, his mother and bodyguards.
Both camps are reportedly trying to close a plea bargain to avoid trial. The next hearing was scheduled for April 29, more time to discuss his deal.
If convicted, the 19-year-old singer is facing a maximum four years and eight months in state prison.

If he's gonna be man enought to hit her he better be man enough to deal with the consiquences. It is absolutely appoling what he did. I dont know who to be more disqusted by chris for hiting her or rhinnana for sticking around with someone who beats her up
