“Nightmare on Elm Street” remake got a release date

After Platinum Dunes' Brad Fuller and Andrew Form announced that their tapping the services of Samuel Bayer to direct for “Nightmare on Elm Street” remake, it was just announced that they will start to shoot the film this April and they set the theatrical release in April 16, 2010.

Platinum Dunes is eyeing an April 27th 2009 start for principal photography for their reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Warner Bros has set April 16th 2010 for the film’s theatrical release.

The question is, who will play the new serial murderer Freddy Krueger?
