Jessica Biel is colorfully radiant in an Oscar de la Renta gown as she hosted the 81st Academy Awards’ Scientific And Technical Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, Feb. 7.
The highest honor of the evening went to digital graphics pioneer and Pixar Animation Studios president Ed Catmull.
Biel described animated movies and says “They’re so emotional. And most of the Pixar films, I usually laugh, cry, am frightened. Those types of movies could and should — if they’re good enough — win an Oscar. Why not?”
