So guys India has been amazing. A little frenetic, as they do things a little different here! So it's been tough with the long shoot days to check in much! But the people are amazing, so eager to please and I've learned so much from them.

I've been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we're filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I'm that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!

I must say my goal coming here was to learn to play the sitar and it's coming along real slow as apparently it's not that easy to procure a great sitar teacher here, I guess it not late 60's with Ravi Shankar and George Harrison roaming around unfortunately!!!!

Goa was my christmas break, and it was stunning, I actually went to South Goa (which isn't the party side of town) thats the North bit, but I'll post tons of footage for you guys out there. If only technology didn't hate me and I was decent with electronics! But I went parasailing, jet skiing and swimming in the ocean for ages every day. The colors, fabrics, food will blow your mind....so stay tuned to see me on my vacation and what I got up to.

Earl Simmons aka DMX covers all his cases by pleading guilty four times in three different cases.

DMX case includes one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty, one felony count of theft, and one count each of felony possession of marijuana and a narcotic drug.

Maricopa County Superior Court gave DMX a minimum 90-day jail sentence and will receive no credit for time served.

DMX cannot own any animals, possess firearms and must attend an animal offender treatment program. If he violates probation, he could be sentenced to more than 10 years in prison.

Today via the abscbnews.com, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation announced that there is no truth about the said TV project.

ABS-CBN Corporate Communications' Bong Osorio said, "There is no truth to the Web reports that ABS-CBN is doing a local adaptation of "Twilight". ABS-CBN will be the first to announce if it is, in fact doing so."

Kate Beckinsale's beauty is very ideal for America's first ladies-inspired theme photoshoot in the latest January 2009 Inauguration issue of Capitol File magazine.

Aside from her classic classy images (with the Jackie O. trademark), Kate talks about her upcoming movie "Nothing But the Truth" were she plays plays Rachel Armstrong, a Washington, DC-based reporter who reveals the identity of a CIA agent and then goes to jail for refusing to name her source. Another breakout role for Beckinsale.

Some highlights of her interview....

What most attracted you to the script of Nothing But the Truth?
"It’s a really well-written, intelligent movie that’s about something. My character starts out in very normal circumstances. She’s an ordinary person who’s trying to catch her break as a journalist, raise her young son, and keep her marriage afloat—all those things everybody’s doing. And then she finds herself in a very extraordinary position of having to be heroic, which I think is interesting because I don’t think anybody sets out to be heroic. There’s a lot that you sacrifice, and it’s very interesting to see this woman have to keep going through experience after experience that’s changing who she is, what she stands up for, and how she manages to keep hold of that all the way through."

A large part of the film’s plot centers on a very daunting ethical question. Did you find yourself wondering, What would I do in that situation?
"I think that if you’re not the person involved, then it’s much easier to come at it from a hypothetical, intellectual place. I didn’t find anything particularly interesting in playing someone who is heroically standing up for a principle. As an actor, [you try to] find the personal, the emotional reasons. It’s almost as if you’re trying to play someone who’s saintly. There’s nothing more boring to watch than somebody going around making the right decisions all the time. As a woman and a mother, I had a very hard time with how long my character is in jail without seeing her son. I know that in terms of heroics, I probably would be less capable because I would be thinking of the effect on my child and I’d probably have to come home."


What was it like to film in a prison?
"If I hadn’t decided against a life of crime before, I definitely have now. They were quite frightening about “Don’t touch anything and always wash your hands.” The level of general filth, I didn’t really think hard about it, but the prison warden was really worried about us touching things and getting hepatitis or something. But it was quite interesting because the weird celebrity culture that we’re in, it doesn’t matter whether people are incredibly oppressed in prison, they still want me to autograph their Bible. You feel ridiculous dressed up in a very similar prison costume, and you know they’re all looking at you thinking, “She’s going home to her hotel, and we’re staying here.”

Have you ever thought about becoming an American citizen?
"I haven’t yet; I may at some point. A British friend of mine—a much older man who’s about the most British person I’ve ever met and has been here God knows how long—has just become an American citizen. He may not be American, but his children live here and he wanted to be part of voting on who’s going to be in power for them, which makes sense to me. I have to say I’ve never planned on living in America. I seem to have got myself here, to my amazement, married to an American—none of these things was I remotely anticipating. Maybe if I find myself still here in 10 or 15 years it would probably be silly not to be able to vote."

The situation is now becoming serious that FBI is now investigating and offering some security protection.

According to The Mail, that security has been stepped up around Cruise, 46, Holmes, 30, and their two-year-old daughter Suri. The couple now live at separate locations and move around in bomb-proof vehicles.

Mid of 2008 it was reported that YG Entertainment is creating a new girl group, a female version of the Big Bang.

Reportedly, they will now introduce the new girl group "Sista (not yet final name)" consisting of three members Park Bom, Gong Minji and CL. They planned to launch the group on the first quarter of 2009.

Still unconfirmed if YG will stay in making the group of 3 members or 4 members. Previously their is also report that the fourth member is former ABS-CBN artist Sandara Park.

He missed Christmas festivities in the Philippines and now the coming New Year Celebration. Led Zeppelin Tuyay, guitarist of Filipino rock band Kamikazee will stay longer in detention at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after his case hearing was postponed.

Led Tuyay was apprehend last December 4 for Drugs charges (Marijuana) and first hearing was originally scheduled on Thursday.

Khaleejtimes reports that Philippine Consul General Benito B. Valeriano in Dubai said the Consulate has been notified of the postponement of the hearing of Led Zeppelin Tuyay, to a date yet to be set.

“Now, we have to wait for further notice. Although his family keeps calling us at the Consulate requesting for the deportation of Tuyay, it is not for us to decide but the Court of UAE.”

If found guilty, a jail term will be his punishment and he will barred from entering UAE.

The historical film "Baler" that Department of Education recommend bagged 10 awards in the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival (2008) awards night held at the Sofitel Hotel in Manila.

The period film "Baler" which also has a grade A rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) was chosen Best Picture and Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award with its educational value.

The beautiful Anne Curtis won her first acting award as Best Actress for her performance in Baler. Co-star Phillip Salvador was named Best Supporting Actor while their director, Mark Meily, won Best Director.

With Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" international line up that includes Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, UFC fighter Randy Couture and Forest Whitaker are now gearing up. Rumor has it that Stallone is pursuing her co-star in the “Demolition Man” movie Sandra Bullock to be one of the CIA ladies in the said film.

And while it's not a "done deal", Sly is apparently indeed pursuing her for the project. Bullock would play a government agent (paired up with Whitaker) on the hunt for Stallone's crew of hired guns. Delicious. Thanks to 'Belly' for the tip!

If the deal push through she will be joining another hot Latin lady Juliana Paes who is also rumored included in the cast.

On Christmas Eve, the gorgeous exes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Bridget Moynahan (with whom the QB has a child) hopped on a private jet from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport to Boston. Also on board were four dozen white roses, champagne and the bride-to-be's parents.

The battle in the box office has now started. The first day ticket sales of the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) are now released.

Taking the to spot is Star Cinema’s “Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat” with P20.9 million in ticket sales nationwide. Followed by M-Zet Productions’ “Iskul Bukol 20 Years Later” starring Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, earning P18.9 million.

MMFF’s executive committee said the film festival’s total earnings Thursday reached P68.6 million, up 13.4 percent from last year.

The zany and misadventures of Inspector Clouseau is back with "The Pink Panther 2". Steve Martin will again reprise the role of Inspector Clouseau to capture another slick burglar. It is set to be released on February 6, 2009.

The story is about the famous Pink Panther diamond in which it was stolen once again. French police inspector, Jacques Clouseau, assembles an international dream team of detectives to aid him in solving the case. A daring cat burglar "The Tornado" who has returned after a decade of inactivity.

With the recent Judge ruling over the "Watchmen" copyright case, a possible delay on the March 6th of 2009 release date of the film.

Judge Gary A. Feess decided that 20th Century Fox’s claims on the "Watchmen" copyright is legit. All interest consisting the right to distribute the ‘Watchmen’ motion picture.

Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures are now having problem with this recent development. The movie that they shot is now in limbo for the March release.

On the ruling, “Fox owns a copyright interest consisting of, at the very least, the right to distribute the ‘Watchmen’ motion picture,” the ruling said.

Fox acquired rights to the “Watchmen” graphic novel in the late 1980s for the producer Lawrence Gordon, but eventually dropped its own plan to make a movie from its story, about the underside of life for superbeings.

Mr. Gordon later pursued the project with Universal Pictures, and then with Paramount Pictures, before shooting it with Warner and Legendary under an arrangement that allows Paramount to distribute the film abroad.

Warner next move will be a settlement or an appeal...

The sultry singer who popularized the Christmas classic novelty song "Santa Baby" passed away.

Eartha Kitt died on Christmas day and it was confirmed by her publicist. Kitt was diagnosed with colon cancer and was treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. She was 81 years-old.

An icon in her own rights, she was the "sex kitten" famous for her catlike purr on her performances.

On her official site, Miss Kitt has performed in over 100 countries and was honored with a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. She has starred in National Tours of THE WIZARD OF OZ and Rogers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA. She also wrote three autobiographies.

Private Practice star Kate Walsh is the first one who decided to say goodbye to the relationship rather than her husband, TMZ reports.

Walsh filed her own divorce papers on Los Angeles Superior Court indicating that she and Alexander Young separated on November 17 but in Young's own divorce papers that was filed earlier this month, they separated on November 22.

With Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" novel and movie success around the world, many are interested to join the bandwagon.

A Philippine version of the "Twilight" series will be seen in the small screen next year. ABS-CBN bagged the exclusive rights to make a local television series based on the blood sucking-love story.

According to ABS-CBN, they will co-produced it with Ignite Media and they purchased the rights for $1 million.

Tentatively titled "Takipsilim", will reunite the onscreen tandem of Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao.

The series will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and the shoot will start rollin' this February.

Hayden clarifies that he is indeed guilty but denies involvement/affair with Rufa Mae Quinto and other personalities. He also strongly denies the said sex video evidence that Vicki Belo discovered.

Hayden said on affair with Katrina, "It's only the affair with Katrina that's true. But it was very, very, very short. It more like fun, like an ego trip for both of us, that we were playing without any personal attachment."

After Travis Baker and surviving family filed their lawsuit against the plane and equipment companies, it is now DJ AM turns.

Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM filed a his lawsuit blaming the pilots for bad judgment and faulty equipment for the plane crash.

According to TMZ, DJ AM claims as the jet reached takeoff speed the pilots became aware one or more of the tires had blown. The suit contends, "Rather than proceed to takeoff, they decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff in a negligent manner." The plane overshot the runway and burst into flames.

DJ Am is suing for the pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement, loss of earnings and medical expenses.

After his recent lawsuit troubles in his career, Michael Jackson is again in trouble. The superstar is now having trouble with his health. He is deeply need a lung transplant.

According to his biographer, Ian Halperin via the British Sun, claimed that "[Michael] battling a genetic disease that has left him almost blind, needed a lung transplant, has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding."

The said genetic disorder is called A1AD — alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency. Sufferers lack a protein which protects the lungs.

Jacko’s brother Jermained confirmed: “He’s not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.

UPDATE: Michael Jackson's rep, Dr. Tohme, has issued the following statement denying the said illness and calling it a “total fabrication”.

“Concerning this author’s allegations, we would hope in the future that legitimate media will not continue to be exploited by such an obvious attempt to promote this unauthorized ‘biography,’ The writer’s wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson’s health are a total fabrication. It's an international flavor combination on Sylvester Stallone's first project from his two-picture deal with Nu Image/Millennium Films.

Reportedly, Stallone will direct his original work entitled "The Expendables". Stars like Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture and Juliana Paes will join him in this forthcoming film.

The story follows an “expendable” team of mercenaries, hired to do jobs that no one else can or will, who are sent to infiltrate a South American country to overthrow the ruthless dictator and liberate the country.

Levi Johnston is the guy who knocked up Sarah Palin's teen daughter Bristol.

Sherry was arrested at her home by Alaska State Troopers with a search warrant in an undercover drug investigation.

Troopers charged Johnston with second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance -- generally manufacturing or delivering drugs -- as well as fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession.

On her blog, she shared why she decided to stop wearing fur: The reason PETA approached me initially is because in my past I did wear fur and they wanted to educate me on the brutal ways in which animals are skinned for their pelts. The cruel treatment I saw had a great impact on me and I am deeply hurt that people are trying to criticize me for uneducated choices I made in my past that I now regret terribly.

To stop more consequences, Akon pleaded guilty over the throwing incident where he grabbed a kid and tossed him off a stage at a 2007 concert held at a minor league baseball stadium.

He pleaded guilty in second-degree harassment, which is considered just a "violation".

Tell me what your favorite moment in Africa was. Oh, I bet you could guess that - when I won the Sprint phone and I was gonna get to see a video of Peggy and I was sitting there on the couch with a beer and a pizza. Jeff had completely convinced me that we were gonna look at some stupid little video, which I was so glad they didn't tell me Peggy was there or I would've hurt myself trying to win the challenge. I turned around and saw my wife standing in Africa, which I had no idea she was there. It was almost like a ghost had arrived. It was one of those moments in my life that is now burned so deeply into my memory, I will never forget it. It was the highlight of Peggy's summer and mine. It was just a wonderful event.

When you look back at that final tribal council where the jury was able to speak, some pretty nasty things were said, not to you but to certainly Sugar and Susie. How did you handle that night and how do you feel about it, all this time later? I think some of it has been smoothed over. I've never been real keen on that nasty behavior. Also, the stress of being on Survivor is enormous and the interaction that you're required to do. I think Corinne said, "We're forced to live with people we hate." It was really very difficult for me because I liked most of the people on the show... no, actually I liked them all. I like some more than others but it's very difficult when you have two people that you like a lot... it's like having two children that are fighting all the time. You love your kids and it's difficult for me to deal with and there's nothing you can do about it. That was stressful, the distaste that they had for each other.

At least $76 million divorce settlement was agreed upon by Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie camp, according to the pop queen rep.

The agreement was shared by Madonna's rep. Liz Rosenberg via The Associated Press, Madonna has given Guy between $76 million to $92 million, including the value of the couple's country home, Ashcombe House in western England, which Ritchie will keep.

Rosenberg said, "I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement."

More changes will happen on American Idol eighth season, theirs a FOX memo that has leaked and posted in mjsbigblog.com.

On the said memo, they shorten the audition weeks featuring fewer bad singers and concentrate to more "aspirational" singers. Instead of a Top 24, the show will feature a Top 36 which will eventually be narrowed down to 12.

No “Idol Gives Back,” event this upcoming season.

Former GMA and now the newest ABS-CBN artist Karylle answers some difficult questions when she guested on the Sunday entertainment talk show "The Buzz".

On Boy Abunda's “The Buzz’s Tough 10 Questions” segment, one question really will start the buzz in the industry.

The question is: “I know you have nothing to do with this pero sabi ko nga kasama ka sa kwentong ito, sa iyong pagkakaalam, Karylle, buntis ba si Marian Rivera?” (In a simple English translation, Is Marian Rivera Pregnant?).

Karylle said nothing and smilingly [fishy/questionable smile] stared back at Abunda. Karylle repeatedly denied that Rivera was the cause of the break-up.

“I think kami lang ni ‘Dong ang makakalam talaga kung bakit kami naghiwalay. I mean we can explain and explain but it will never be fully sufficient. And I think even to this day, we don’t understand why we broke up. So, parang how can you even explain it to other person?” she said.

The young daughters of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen was involved in accident and reportedly their are now safe and unharmed.

In a statement, Charlie's rep. said via People, "Charlie told me that the girls are fine. He said it could have been much worse. They were in their car seats, and he is extremely grateful for the safety features from Mercedes.”

Sam (4) and Lola Rose Sheen (3), were riding in a Mercedes SUV when a Honda car made a crazy left turn in front of them that causes a four car collision.

Continuing the tradition of horror and suspense, here comes the 10th installment of "Shake, Rattle and Roll" franchise. Aside being the entry for 34th Metro Manila Film Festival, the movie is also the gathering of stars from rival networks.

"Shake, Rattle and Roll X" presents 3 episodes entitled "Nieves", "Emergency" and "Class Picture."

In the episode "Emergency," GMA artist JC de Vera and ABS-CBN star Roxanne Guinoo portray a paramedic and a doctor, respectively. They struggle with other hospital residents to save their lives from the wrath of blood hungry creatures played by Mylene Dizon and Wendell Ramos. Other cast are Janus Del Prado, John Lapus, Cris Daluz, Denise Laurel and Eri Neeman.

In the episode "Nieves," Marian Rivera plays the title character who is the town's famous and lone Engkanto Slayer. (The lead role was originally given to Eugene Domingo but some problem happened on the way). Cast includes Robert (Buboy) Villar, Jennica Garcia, Mart Escudero, BJ Forbes, James Blanco, Jojit Lorenzo, Marco Alcaraz, Iwa Moto and Chariz Solomon.

In "Class Picture," ten college students spend the weekend at their school to prepare an exhibit in exchange for lifting the suspension of their organization. However, they find themselves haunted by the awakened spirit of a demented nun, Sr. Maria Belonia (Jean Garcia), who has put a curse on a class picture of her section in 1898. Cast includes Kim Chui, Gerald Anderson, Jean Garcia, IC Mendoza, Sheena Halili, Valeen Montenegro, Erich Gonzales and Nina Jose.

“Nieves: The Encanto Slayer” and “Emergency” is directed by Mike Tuviera while Topel Lee directed "Class Picture."

It seems the ex-beauty queen and Pinoy Big Brother housemate Riza Santos is always having problem in his work or the people she is working with.

Riza got to a misunderstanding to GMA artist like Katrina Halili and their is also an issue with her co-star Ruffa Gutierrez in ABS-CBN's Betty La Fea. Now, the company that she endorses is also asking her to pay a six-digit amount for her no-show at mall tours (as a part of a contract).

Riza defended that accusation by filing a lawsuit against the clothing company. Her reason was she had to go home to Canada to fulfill her military duties and she wasn't advised by her talent management group handling her which is Viva Artists Agency (VAA) about the mall tour dates.

But according to VIVA, that Riza is indeed inform that she had to leave for Canada because she was "recalled for military service as a Canadian citizen" but VAA discovered that she never left the country, neither did she go to Canada on the day she informed VAA that she was leaving.

Rumors that the former beauty queen underwent plastic surgery.

When she was interviewed in TV Patrol, she answered about the surgery issue: Riza admitted that she didn't leave the country but said, "I don't see what does that have to do with the lawsuit [with the clothing company]."

"It's a personal issue," added her mom. "Whatever she does with her is nobody's business. It's her body—which is not true."

The votes is composed of 8-man jury (eliminated castaways) and the popular vote from the text viewers (Tribung Filipino). The Score is 7-2, in which JC won the popular vote.

JC took home the Php 3 million prize money being the sole Survivor. By the way in the previous challenges, he also took home a brand new car.

Coldplay hits back at the guitarist who claimed that band's hit single "Viva La Vida" is a ripped off from his 2004 instrumental, "If I Could Fly."

In a statement, "With the greatest possible respect to Joe Satriani, we have now unfortunately found it necessary to respond publicly to his allegations. If there are any similarities between our two pieces of music, they are entirely coincidental, and just as surprising to us as to him. Joe Satriani is a great musician, but he did not write the song 'Viva La Vida.' We respectfully ask him to accept our assurances of this and wish him well with all future endeavors."

Joe Satriani filed a a copyright infringement lawsuit in LA, claiming that the song contains "substantial, original portions" of his 2004 song

"Viva La Vida," has sold more than 2 million copies in the United States alone, topping the charts in 36 countries and nominated in different music awards category.

After Travis Barker and the mother of Barker's bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, filed a lawsuit last month against the plane and equipment companies, another surviving family of the crash victims is suing the said companies for the untimely death.

According to TMZ, the surviving wife of Chris Baker is filing a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court that the pilots "negligently decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff."

Baker suffered "severe pre and post-impact injury, damage to property, pain, suffering, and emotional distress, and ultimately died due to fatal injuries sustained from said crash including but not limited to the post-impact fire." And there's this ominous line: "The death was not immediate."

In the last tribal council, it's in the hands of the one who won the immunity challenge which is Rob to choose which fellow castaway that he will he bring in the final two. Rob chose JC and voted out the jolly castaway Anna Charisse Yacapin.

The come princess Britney Spears shared some joyful cheers by doing a Christmas caroling in Los Angeles with TV host Ellen DeGeneres.
