Filipina actress-equestrienne -child advocate Mikee Cojuangco–Jaworkski was named first Plan International's Child Rights ambassador. the announcement was made yesterday during the International Human Rights Day.
Plan International is a non-government organization (NGO) that focus on humanitarian and child-centred advocacy. The organization are working in 45 developing countries, with families and their communities to help children realise their full potential in life.
It promotes key broad issues affecting children: education, health, livelihood, governance, water and environmental sanitation, child protection, and disaster risk education and management.
