The performance of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker in The Dark Knight was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination by Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Ledger's family issued a statement, “We thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for honoring Heath’s performance in The Dark Knight.
