To stop more consequences, Akon pleaded guilty over the throwing incident where he grabbed a kid and tossed him off a stage at a 2007 concert held at a minor league baseball stadium.
He pleaded guilty in second-degree harassment, which is considered just a "violation".
The hip-hop singer was sentenced to 65 hours community service and $250 in fines.
