Early light for convicted Grammy Award winning rapper John Forté after he was pardoned by the out going United States President George W. Bush.
John Forté was arrested at Newark International Airport in 2000 after being found carrying $1.4m worth of cocaine (31 pounds) and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Forte just served half of his sentence. He is one among 16 individuals that has given clemency by George W. Bush.
