Hong Kong pop star Jacky Cheung has returned fire and blasted the Philippines consulate for listing him as a "substandard employer".
The Philippines consulate banned Cheung from hiring maids from the Philippines after sacking 21 employees in just three years.
Jacky Cheung claims and he said he has been a good boss and is justified in dismissing staff if they fail to reach his standards.

He also said, "An employer can fire an employee if he or she fails to perform, whilst an employee can also resign if he or she is not happy about the employer.
"Is there anything wrong if we fire a maid when we find out that she is not helpful?".

Firing 21 maids in 3 years is surely Mr. Cheung has something wrong or a big problem to his ego.

ABS-CBN acquires Fernando Poe Jr. Movie Library

ABS-CBN acquired the exclusive rights to the whole movie library of Fernando Poe Jr., FPJ’s movie library contained all his starring roles, and movies he produced and directed.
Susan Roces wife of the "The King", signed an agreement with ABS-CBN for the exclusive rights.
The movie library also has the never been aired music video of FPJ before he passed away. This will be shown to the public in a TV special this December to coincide with Poe’s third death anniversary.

Pinky Marquez to the Rescue on Karel Marquez Pregnancy Issue

Their a rumors circulating around that former FHM Cover girl and "Ride to Fame" host Karel Marquez is pregnant. The issue started when Karel unexpectedly backed out or want to take a break from GMA's newest primetime show, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan.
Karel's decision to cut short her Zaido stint was triggered by her desire to go to the United States to study. Hmmmm? I think and I heard that reason before. Yeah, that's Camille Prats reason before she finally announced that she is pregnant.

According to PEP, Pinky Marquez, mother of Karel, her decision to drop Zaido was purely because of time and health concerns. Pinky also said, "Even with Zaido, I was against it... The time of their taping would end at 10 a.m. the next day. Her resistance is weak. She's not getting any sleep. That's when you have so much work. It's like sunud-sunod," "She don't have the stamina to endure long tapings which is a given in doing TV series."

Pauleen Luna is not a replacement to Karel's character in Zaido. Pauleen will come in as Karel's sister.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner shed tears after being stopped at Mumbai Airport, on her way to the opening of the Miss Bollywood musical in Berlin. Shilpa Shetty has been arrested again following the kiss that shocked a nation. Immigration officials said she was still wanted for obscenity charges over the kiss.

Shetty publicly kissed Richard Gere. It was an embrace that had even the most hardened Americans blushing.

Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan from GMA won the pilot telecast TV rating against ABS-CBN Lastikman. Both of this two shows debut their first episode telecast last September 24.
According to the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines, Zaido hits a 34.6% rating and rival Lastikman posted 30.3% rating.

WWE Letter to Former WWE Employees

WWE officials sent letters to over 500 wrestlers beginning a week ago. WWE is offering assistance and help to their drug or alcohol problems. The said actions is due to recent deaths and steroid cases.
Here is a transcript of the letter WWE is sending out to their ex-performers and hand-signed by Vince McMahon.

Over the last ten years, an inordinate number of wrestlers have passed away. Some of those deaths may in part have been caused by drugs and alcohol.

In an effort to prevent such tragedies in the future, the WWE is willing to pay for drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation at a certified treatment chosen by WWE for any performer with a prior WWE booking contract who may need this service. The WWE will pay for this service in full.

There is no cost to you or your family. Help will be provided regardless of the circumstances of your departure from the WWF or the amount of time you performed for the WWE.

If you do not have a drug and/or alcohol problem, but know you know a former WWE performer who does, we are asking you to try to help them by encouraging them to take advantage of this opportunity.

Liz Difabio has been appointed as a representative in this matter. Liz has been with the company for over 24 years and has been directly involved with the majority of WWE performers who have received treatment for substance abuse. She understands emotions that individuals and family members go through in this process. Any conversation you have with Liz will remain confidential and will not be released to the public.

In many instances, an individual in need of help is in denial and will not want rehabilitation. There are professional intervention companies that will help persuade that person that they need treatment. Liz will be able to facilitate such interventions, should they be necessary. An intervention and treatment will be at the cost of WWE exclusively.

GMA's "Zaido" vs. ABS-CBN's "Lastikman" battles Tonight

This will be a battle of super heroes in Philippine primetime television. Both two networks (GMA & ABSCBN) in the last two weeks delivered a strong promotional campaign to their upcoming TV series. Lastikman and Zaido airs their pilot episode tonight.
Many viewers will be disappointed, their expected face-off collision will not happen tonight as the two new shows appear on different timeslots. But surely TV viewers will wait to find out what will be the TV ratings result of the two shows.

Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (GMA 7 Nework)


GMA Network Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan is an upcoming series from a sequel to the Japanese tokusatsu series, Uchuu Keiji Shaider. Initially, the network was supposed to do a remake of Shaider, but Toei rejected the script that they submitted. Toei instead, permitted them to write an original series featuring the descendants of the characters in Shaider. In fact, in the teasers that are currently aired for the show, the name of Toei is depicted in the show's title card which signifies Toei's blessing for the show. This will be a spin-off to the Uchuu Keiji Trilogy which is a part of the Metal Heroes genre in Japanese Tokusatsu.
20 years have passed since the second Shaider(Dai Sawamura), destroyed the clan of Fuuma-Lear. Now, the descendants of the said clan had emerged to exact revenge on Earth. Gallian, a descendant of Dai, has a mission to search for his cousins to form an elite group of space sheriffs known as Zaido.

George Clooney in a Motorcycle Accident

George Clooney suffered a broken rib in New Jersey on Friday when a car collided with the motorcycle he was riding. The actor’s publicist said, The 46-year-old actor was treated at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, N.J. and released, spokesman Stan Rosenfield said in a statement.
Sarah Larson, who was riding on the motorcycle with him and suffer a broken foot.

Extension to "Kapamilya, Deal or no Deal"

Somehow Kris Aquino has confirmed that "Kapamilya, Deal or no Deal" will be out next month, this happened in September 5 episode of the the said show when a Muslim contestant won the P 2 million prize.
