Filipino Farmers Needs Angelina Jolie’s Help and inviting her to visit the Philippines

Filipino Farmers group called Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (Farmers' Movement of the Philippines) has asked the United Nations to send Angelina Jolie to visit the Philippines to check on the rising number of people displaced by army offensives in the countryside.

The KMP wants Jolie to witness "the real situation of internally displaced people in the country,"

More than 10,000 people have been forced to leave their homes this year alone because of increased military actions and threats.
