Taylor Swift in Band Hero's latest commercial
Lovely young singer Taylor Swift delivered her own version of ”Risky Business” intro for the latest commercial of Band Hero musical video game.
The 19 year-old country hottie was joined by Rivers Cuomo from Weezer, Travis Barker from Blink-182 and Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy.
Anything that encourages people to pick up an instrument and play, I’m fully behind. And, I’m really excited about Band Hero, because not only are fans getting to play my songs, but I’m actually in the game,” Taylor said of the game back in August. “There are so many awesome things that go into being in Band Hero, like getting to customize my band to look like my touring band, and it’s so cool for people to feel like they are experiencing one of my concerts. This is one of the closest things out there to going to see me perform!”

Blink 182 canceled Saratoga concert due to DJ AM's death
Blink 182 decided to canceled their show in Saratoga Springs, New York, saying band members were grieving the death of their friend DJ AM.
Goldstein and Travis Barker were both survivors of a plane crash last year in South Carolina that killed four people.
The band's statement over the cancellation:DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) was found dead in his New York City apartment and the cause of death is still pending but initial investigations reveals drug paraphernalia (prescription pill bottles and "crack pipe") was found in the apartment.
"Due to circumstances surrounding the unfortunate and untimely passing of our dear friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, blink-182 will not be playing tonight in Saratoga, NY at SPAC ... We thank all of our fans for their support in this tough time."

It is almost a great news as Recording Academy announced that the band’s members Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker or popularly known as Blink 182 will reunite at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.
I'm sorry to say that the trio will not perform at the Grammys, they will be one of the presenters in the said event.
Their is also a buzzing rumor that their will be a Blink reunion in the future.

More lawsuit against the plane company in Travis Barker and friends plane crash
After Travis Barker and the mother of Barker's bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, filed a lawsuit last month against the plane and equipment companies, another surviving family of the crash victims is suing the said companies for the untimely death.
According to TMZ, the surviving wife of Chris Baker is filing a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court that the pilots "negligently decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff."
Baker suffered "severe pre and post-impact injury, damage to property, pain, suffering, and emotional distress, and ultimately died due to fatal injuries sustained from said crash including but not limited to the post-impact fire." And there's this ominous line: "The death was not immediate."

Travis Barker filed a lawsuit against the plane and equipment companies
The plane crash was due to pilot's error and defective equipment. These are the points of the lawsuit filed by Travis Barker and the mother of Barker's bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, who died in the crash.
It alleges that the pilots "negligently decided to abort" and "The pilots were either poorly trained and/or failed to follow their training. The pilots' decision was a breach of their duty owed to the passengers onboard and was a substantial factor in causing the crash and resultant injuries and deaths."
Also in the lawsuit, the plane was "defective", "It's landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, squat switches and component parts were not airworthy."
Barker is suing for "pain and suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress and disfigurement and pre-impact fear of death and burning." Also include loss of earnings capacity and medical expenses.
Clay Lacy Aviation, Global Executive Aviation, Inter Travel and Services, Goodyear Tire and Rubber and Bombardier Inc are the defendants in this case.
