Kellan Lutz is Poseidon in "War of the Gods"

"Twilight" star Kellan Lutz has secured a role as a mighty Greek God in the upcoming mythological tale "War of the Gods" opposite Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto.

According to Variety, Lutz has been cast as Poseidon, lord of the sea. The story follows Theseus (Henry Cavill), a young warrior who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods against the elder gods of the Titans.

Tarsem Singh, director of "The Fall" and "The Cell," is helming the flick. Filming will begin in April.

Mickey Rourke boasts of bedding 14 women in one night

Hollywood tough guy Mickey Rourke reveals that he is a hard worker in bed --boasting of sleeping with 14 women in one night.

The "Wrestler" star told the UK's Sun, "Forget Ashley Cole, his behaviour has nothing on a film star. WAGs get an easy time - they should try living with Hollywood hellraisers."

"I once spent a weekend in the UK and had 14 women in one night."

His sex marathon took place in London and luckily it happens before he met his current girlfriend, 24-year-old Russian model Anastassija Makarenko.

Mickey Rourke has signed on to be the Russian villain in Iron Man 2

The see-saw negotiation is finally over, Mickey Rourke has signed on to play the villain in Iron Man 2 after they finalize a better deal.

Accordinding to Deadline Hollywood Daily, "I just heard that ICM has scored its second casting deal for Marvel's Iron Man 2. After at first being low-balled by the studio to the tune of $250K, Rourke has signed on for the role of the Russian villain in the sequel after his agent David Unger got the quote up to a "significant" level despite this punishing economic climate where the studios are taking advantage of talent.

I can also tell you that Sony was considering hiring Mickey to play the villain in Spider-Man 4."

Rourke will be playing as Tony Stark's Russian alter ego, a heavily tattooed bruiser who is in the arms trade and battles Iron Man in his own nuclear-powered armored suit.

It is based on a 1989 novel of the same name by Elmore Leonard, is the story of a woman who witnesses a crime and as a result is put into Witness Protection with her husband. Is Emily Blunt the next Black Widow in Iron Man 2?

Aside from reported new villains (Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell) in "Iron Man 2", another character is now on the works. Tony Stark’s femme fatale nemesis, The Black Widow.

According to Variety, Marvel Entertainment and director Jon Favreau aere looking for the next Black Widow and “The Devil Wears Prada” star Emily Blunt is now rumored to be the front runner for the role.

Black Widow (real name: Natasha Romanoff), a Soviet superspy who has beauty and the knowledge in high-tech weaponry.

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson who played Nick Fury is out of the picture.

"Iron Man 2" will begin production in the spring for release by Paramount in summer 2010.

Mickey Rourke's new PETA ad - “ABC” campaign

Golden Globe Best actor Mickey Rourke who thanked his dogs at the awards night is the new image model of the new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ad on its “ABC” campaign.

Like the PETA ad featuring Patricia Arquette, their campaigning to stop the overpopulation of animals and encourages pet owners to spay and neuter their animals.

In the new ad, the star of The Wrestler and Jaws urge folks to “Have the cojones to fix your dog. When dogs get knocked up, puppies get put down because there aren’t enough homes for them.”
