"Glee" cast going to the White House

First Lady Michelle Obama invited the cast of the hit series "Glee" to the White House for the Easter celebration.

The young singing stars will perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Apr. 5.

Amber Riley, who plat Mercedes Jones tweeted, "Singing at the white house. I'm in total disbelief... So excited to meet my President and First Lady!!!! Yay!!!"

Glee's new episode begins April 13.

Controversy are now fuming with this new ad, The White House announced that PETA used the First Lady’s picture without permission.

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk tells The Associated Press that her organization has done nothing wrong. Newkirk explains that PETA honchos didn’t seek Mrs. Obama’s consent because they know that she can’t make such an endorsement.

Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special on Dec. 13

Oprah Winfrey will join President Barack Obama and the first family in an ABC holiday special entitled "Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special".

Aside from the interviews with the Obamas, it will also include a tour of the White House and their preparation for the holiday season.

The special marks the first interview between Oprah and Obama since the former Chicago senator took office.

Obama: latest official Family Portait

The White House just released the official First Family portrait which include President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and their First Daughters 8 year-old Sasha and 11 year-old Malia. Absent in this new portrait is their latest addition to their family, Portuguese Waterdog "Bo Obama".

The photo was taken by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Beyonce's special shout-out to Sasha and Malia

Special attention was given by Beyonce to the First Daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama (accompanied by their mom-first lady Michelle Obama) during her concert in Washington, D.C.

Beyoncé gave a special shout-out before she belted out her hit Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It), “This is for Sasha and Malia — and all my single ladies.”

This is Beyonce's second time to performed for the Obama. She sung "At Last" for Barack and Michelle during their first dance on inauguration night in January.

Oprah: So after the inauguration, what was your first weekend in the White House like?

Michelle Obama: Well, we still had family here, so it was almost like a wedding. A huge, very complicated wedding. The last visitors didn't leave until Sunday. And then the first Monday was kind of weird. You know: "Now we live here, and Barack is getting up and going to work, and it's just us. This is our home now."

Oprah: I had heart palpitations coming through the White House gate, recognizing that this really is now your home. It's the White House, and it's your home.

Michelle Obama: And it's a beautiful home. When you go out and come back, especially at night, with all the white lights on—it's just beautiful. We feel privileged, and we feel a responsibility to make it feel like the people's house. We have the good fortune of being able to sleep here, but this house belongs to America.

Oprah: How will the decorating style change?

Michelle Obama: It will reflect our family. I want comfortable sofas, I want art that reflects contemporary and traditional, I want to bring in new American artisans.

She is now being tagged as "America’s next First Lady.”

Michelle Obama does the first lady pose on the September 2008 issue of Radar Magazine. The mag is offering “an insider’s guide to America’s next First Lady,” with a few comparisons to Senator Hillary Clinton along the way.

Many described Michelle as an exceptionally stylish, has an image and reputation for toughness.

Radar tells that : She gives us her vision but not her positions. Unlike Hillary, she doesn't push a policy agenda. Her stump speech offers more of a world view. She speaks wistfully about the America that produced a hard-working man like her father, sadly about the country today (conservatives tend to focus on this aspect), and ecstatically about the future. We know she wants us to elect her husband, but we suspect she wants something from us, personally.

We know she's opinionated, and we suspect we haven't heard them all. She is fiercely public about being fiercely private. She is neither the shrewish lady in pantsuits (Hillary) nor the pretty, if also practical, accessory that generations of political wives have been.
