Melissa Etheridge's Ex Tammy Lynn Files For Full Custody Of Their Children

With their separation is now heating up, Melissa Etheridge’s ex Tammy Lynn Michaels is firing back and she has filed for full custody of their 3-year old twins and she's also asking for spousal support.

Tammy claims that she was "blindsided" by Melissa after she filed a Petition for Dissolution of Domestic Partnership. Melissa is seeking joint custody and she asked the court for zero financial support to Michaels.

Both cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Melissa Etheridge Legally Ending Partnership with Tammy Lynn Michaels

Melissa Etheridge is officially breaking up her partnership with Tammy Lynn Michaels, seeking joint custody of their 3-year-old twins and she asked the court for zero financial support to Michaels.

Melissa went to L.A. County Superior Court to file a Petition for Dissolution of Domestic Partnership, citing "irreconcilable differences".

The 49year-old Etheridge and Tammy held a commitment ceremony in 2003 and registered a domestic partnership in August 2005. Michaels gave birth to a twin in 2006. The couple split last April.
