Mariel Rodriguez is ABS-CBN's Varga

TV host Mariel Rodriguez is the latest celebrity to play a action hero for ABS-CBN's new fantasy series "Varga".

Varga was created by Komiks genius Mars Ravelo in 1947. This character is said to be the first and the original Darna. When Mars Ravelo left Bulaklak Magazine and work for Ace Publications he recreated the character that gave birth to Darna.

But their is some question about Mariel Rodriguez as Varga. Can she match the ratings set by Kapitan Boom?

Her popularity decline after her stint in Pinoy Big Brother as a celebrity house guest. Many are saying her attitude in real life is not fit for a superhero.

Check out her costume below....

By the way, I hope they modify her costume.

PBB Celebrity 2 Update: Agenda in Mariel Rodriguez Return

Some people are talking about Mariel's return to PBB.

It's obvious, Mariel's return in the Big Brother house is an attempt to widen and to promote the love triangle scenario between the three housemates and thats Mariel, Jon Avila and Baron Geisler.

And now many are saying the script machine is working or the house is really in need of a bubbly character like Mariel.

PBB Celebrity 2 Update: Mariel Rodriguez returns with Big Sister Task

After the Kadiri and showbiz comment, Baduy ang GMA and many controversial words from Mariel Rodriguez.

Once again TV host Mariel Rodriguez was invited by Big Brother to become a houseguest inside the Big Brother house.

As for her first task, she was appointed and will serve as the Pinoy Big Sister inside the PBB house while Big Brother is away.

PBB Celebrity 2 Update: Victor Basa Evicted! Mariel Goodbye to you

I agree with the result in last night eviction. Victor Basa is the latest evictee in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2.

You will not feel the presence of Victor inside the house. The Wild Child Baron is more interesting and unpredictable than him.

Its a goodbye for Mariel Rodriguez, after a week extension inside the house. Big brother finally informed Mariel that she will now leave the house. Kuya thanks Mariel for her support and patience.

PBB Celebrity 2 Update: Baron Returns and Angel Locsin entry CONFIRMED

Baron Geisler is back!!! It was announced last night after he was voted by the televiewers to stay inside the Big Brother house.

But actually in my opinion, he is expected to be back (whether viewers voted him in or out). The PBB house desperately needs of 3 more housemates due to Ethel and Mcoys exits and upcoming Mariel Rodriguez exit this Saturday. The sudden exits really affects the programmed schedule.
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal(PEP)that there's a rumor that new prize artist of ABS-CBN and that is Angel Locsin will enter the house as celebrity houseguest.

UPDATE : According to DZMM's Laila Chikadora's confirmed that Locsin will enter PBB house as a "celebrity house guest."

It is also a form of a promotion for Angel's new upcoming television series, "La Loba Blanca".

Is Angel Locsin's entry or any new celebrity guest for damage control? Hmmmmmmm!!!!

PBB Celebrity 2 Update: Mock Nominations

Geisler brothers, Jon Avila and Canadian beauty queen Riza Santos are the nominees in last night nomination in Big Brother House.

Again, Big Brother is up to his tricks again. The nomination last night is just a mock. The housemates doesn't know about this. So this week the nominees will feel and suffer emotionally of thinking they will be evicted this Saturday.

It’s actually celebrity houseguest Mariel Rodriguez who’s going out this coming Saturday.

Mariel Rodriguez is now a Celebrity House guest

In a different twist, Big brother traps Mariel Rodriguez in the Big Brother House. Mariel is one of the hosts of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2" and she was surprise/shock when she was ordered to stay in the house of Kuya. She is not a official housemate but she is now the first official celebrity house guest.

Mariel can only say,"I can't believe you're doing this to me! Oh my God!"

Big Brother presented Mariel with a welcome gift, her personal belongings.
