American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen gave an advice to the latest AI season 9 hopefuls that they must relax and it will be great help if they do some “Jumping jacks" to release tension.

In his recent interview, Allen said, “Don’t be nervous. People can tell, so just go out, be comfortable and be yourself. Jumping jacks always help.”

Talking about the Top 24, Kris was amazed with Andrew Garcia but he feels that the girls will shine this year.

“I thought Andrew Garcia was really good,” he says. But this year he predicts, “It’s going to be a girl, maybe a country girl.”

Kris Allen is in the Philippines for a concert entitled "Musicfest 2010" on Feb. 5 at the SM North Parking in Cebu City, and on Feb. 6at the McKinley Hill Concert Area in Taguig City.

Adam Lambert: "I'm Gay" Rolling Stone Magazine

American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert graces the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine and now he will not keep the public speculating as he proudly announced that he is Gay.

"I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I’m gay. I’ve been living in Los Angeles for eight years as a gay man. I’ve been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner.”

Using Rolling Stone to finally reveal his sexuality.

“Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, ‘I’m going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler. I’m proud of my sexuality.”

Adam is eying Kris Allen but he is taken.

“They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight.”

Kris Allen won American Idol season 8

He is considered as the dark horse in this season 8 of the American Idol. After a record 100 million votes were cast, Arkansas native Kris Allen was announced this year's winner against the heavily favorite gay rocker Adam Lambert.

After Seacres announced the the winner, the humble Kris Allen can only said, "Adam deserves this. I'm sorry, I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy!".

Performance from David Cook, Fergie & The Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lionel Richie, KISS, Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Jason Mraz, Steve Martin, Rod Stewart, and Queen completed the jam-packed result finale.
