Jennifer Hudson and her her baby boy, David Daniel Otunga Jr.

Despite the tragic tragedy happened to her family last year, Jennifer Hudson's sorrow somehow was erased with the arrival of her baby boy, David Daniel Otunga Jr. (born on August 10).

Here's first photo of singer Jennifer Hudson and her baby boy for the new issue of People Magazine.

Highlights of her interview:

How hard was it keeping your pregnancy under wraps?
"David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there."

Your son was delivered via C-section, what was your recovery like?
"Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By that night after I had the baby, I'm like, 'Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore."

Has his personality emerged yet?
"He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants."

Would you be supportive if he wants to pursue a career in entertainment?
"We'll definitely encourage education. His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to get an education and go to school. My mom always said, 'Whatever you want to do, I'll support you as long as you’re happy.' So I will do the same."

Jennifer Hudson's "If This Isn’t Love" music video and Lyrics

Jennifer Hudson is slowly returning back in the music spotlight with a new music video for the single, "If This Isn’t Love".

Diane Martel shot this video on January 26 and it is also the Jennifer's first time to returned to work after the fatal death of her family.

"If This Isn’t Love" Lyrics

I’m calling his phone up
Just to tell him how much
I really love him ‘cause
His everything I want
He listens to me, he cares for me
So I truly believe

God sent me an angel
Up from above
That’s gonna love me for life
Might as well be perfect only because
It’s the only way I can describe, so

It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I could be dreaming or just plain crazy
It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I never felt like this baby
If this isn’t love

L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh if this isn’t love
L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh if this isn’t love

I’m selfish ‘cause I don’t
Wanna share him with nobody
Not even knows
People that came before me
But see, I never believed

God would send me an angel
Up from above
That’s gonna love me for life
Might as well be perfect only because
It’s the only way I can describe, so

It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I could be dreaming or just plain crazy
It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I never felt like this baby
If this isn’t love

L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh if this isn’t love
L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh

So if you got real love
Lemme see you put your hands up
See you put your hands up
The kind of love that fits quite like a drug
Lemme see you put your hands up
See you put your hands up
If this isn’t love
‘Cause I know I ain’t crazy
I know I ain’t tripping
I know I ain’t slipping
I know that is love
You see me with my hands up
If you think I’m dreaming
I know I ain’t dreaming
‘Cause this is the reason I love him because
If this isn’t love

It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I could be dreaming or just plain crazy
It this isn’t love, tell me what it is
‘Cause I never felt like this baby

L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh if this isn’t love
L-O-V-E, what is in me
L-O-V-E, oh if this isn’t love

Love, L-O-V-E
Love, L-O-V-E

Jennifer Hudson's performance in Super Bowl XLIII (video-2009)

After the fatal tragedy of her family (mother, brother and nephew)last October, Jennifer Hudson made her first public performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida as she sung "The Star-Spangled Banner".

Once more she delivers great performance with her vocal prowess at Raymond James Stadium.

"Confident and immaculately turned out in a dark blue military style jacket, long white top and black leggings, Hudson gave a performance for the ages, easily hitting the song's notoriously tricky melody and nailing a pair of long notes at the end that sent shivers through the TV. Pouring her heart into the music on the year's largest TV stage, Hudson instantly set a new standard."

One of the best voice in the industry is back.....
