Katie Holmes' “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark” (2011) - Trailer

Here's the trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's horror flick “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark”, remake of the 1973 horror TV movie.
Sally (Bailee Madison), a lonely, introverted child, has just arrived at the 19th century mansion her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie Holmes) are restoring. While exploring the sprawling estate, Sally discovers a hidden, long-undisturbed basement. Unwittingly, she unleashes a race of malevolent, dark-dwelling creatures who intend to drag her and her family down into the mansion’s bottomless depths.
Starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, Bailee Madison, Alan Dale, Julia Blake, Jack Thompson, Edwina Ritchard, Eliza Taylor-Cotter and Dylan Young.

Directed by Troy Nixey and it will hit the theaters on January 21, 2011.

"The Wolfman" - Final Poster

Checkout this new and probably final Poster for the upcoming horror flick "The Wolfman", remake from the 1941 classic horror of the same name.

Katie Holmes will star in Guillermo del Toro's demon-thriller movie

Katie Holmes is set to star in Guillermo del Toro's produce-written thriller film "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark".

The film will shoot this summer in Melbourne and will be directed by Troy Nixey.
"Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" is based on a 1973 ABC telepic about a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend and discovers they are sharing the house with devilish creatures. - Variety.
Katie just completed shooting the comedy "The Extra Man" with Kevin Kline and Paul Dano. Directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.

Weekend Box Office : Hellboy II fires up at the no.1 spot

Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army did two records under it's belt, being the no.1 in weekend box office and Hellboy 2's gross takes over "Get Smart" as the lowest #1 opening of the summer. The Hellboy sequel earned an impressive $35.9 million from 3,204 theaters.

It is also surpassed the first installment in 2004 gross which Sony released ($23.2 million).
