Ryan O'Neal: Farrah Fawcett Snubbed At the 2010 Oscars is "very hurtful"

Many are surprise at 82nd Academy Awards over “In Memoriam” tribute after actress Farrah Fawcett was not included in that segment.
Ryan O'Neal, who is deeply upset told radaronline, “It was a terrible decision and very hurtful," O'Neal said. "Farrah was a member of the Academy for over 40 years and we could not believe she did not get a mention."
Fawcett fought a tough battle with the Big C and passed away last June 2009.

Fawcett is popularly known for her undercover role as detective Jill Munroe on "Charlie's Angels". Her movies are "Sunburn," "Saturn 3," "The Cannonball Run" and "Dr. T and the Women."

ABC is reviving "Charlie's Angels"

ABC is reaching close of making a great decision of having a pilot order to revived 1970s TV series "Charlie's Angels".
Josh Friedman, who recently adapted the "Terminator" franchise for his Fox series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," is onboard to write and exec produce the new "Angels."

Also involved are original "Charlie’s Angels" producer Leonard Goldberg, who launched the series with Aaron Spelling in 1976, as well as Drew Barrymore, who starred in and produced the 2000 film version and its sequel. Sony Pictures TV is the studio. - Variety
Drew Barrymore, Friedman and Goldberg will exec produce with Nancy Juvonen.

The film version starring Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz is a big box office hit.

It will be a big break to the ladies which will be cast in this new modern version of "Charlie’s Angels".

Farrah Fawcett ended her journey; She is 62.

Farrah Fawcett had fought a tough battle with the Big C (anal cancer), diagnosed back in 2006. She died at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California June 25, 9:28 am. She was 62. Yesterday, her family gave their last goodbyes.
Ryan O'Neal said in a statement to Us, "After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.
Fawcett is a former college beauty queen who become very popular with her sporty undercover role as detective Jill Munroe on 1970's Charlie's Angels.

She received an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of a battered wife in the 1984 TV movie The Burning Bed and received two more Emmy nominations for her roles as a predator in the miniseries Small Sacrifices and in 2004's The Guardian.

Farrah Fawcett on the edge of her journey

A sad story to report. Farrah Fawcett is reportedly approaching the end of her journey.
According to TMZ, "Farrah Fawcett is reportedly close to death.

Numerous reports have surfaced that family members are gathering for their final goodbyes.

Farrah's health has been deteriorating ever since she was diagnosed with anal cancer three years ago.

We just spoke to Farrah's rep, who would only tell us, "She continues to be treated for her condition."
Prayers for Farrah and her entire family....
