Box Office: "Inception" still at no.1, "Dinner for Schmucks" at 2nd

Christopher Nolan’s "Inception" is holding a very tight grip at the top spot of the weekend box office, raking in another $27.5 million. The movie is now on its third consecutive week at the no.1 spot.

The Steve Carell-Paul Rudd comedy "Dinner for Schmucks" is in second with $23.3 million while Angelina Jolie’s espionage thriller "Salt" went third with $19.3 million.

Leonardo DiCaprio's “Inception” - seven character posters

Checkout seven new character posters from Christopher Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi thriller movie “Inception”, due out July 16, 2010.

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible -- inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Christopher Nolan's "Inception" - teaser trailer

Checkout the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi thriller "Inception" starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, and Ellen Page.

Warner Bros. has described Inception "as a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind".

Other cast includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Talulah Riley, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 16, 2010.
