Natalie Portman explains "Eating Animals"

Actress-vegetarian Natalie Portman wrote some interesting thoughts via huffingtonpost defending Jonathan Safran Foer’s "Eating Animals". She claims that the author helps her to realized that being vegetarian practitioner is not enough, she must spread the awareness actively.
I've always been shy about being critical of others' choices because I hate when people do that to me. I'm often interrogated about being vegetarian (e.g., "What if you find out that carrots feel pain, too? Then what'll you eat?").
I've also been afraid to feel as if I know better than someone else -- a historically dangerous stance (I'm often reminded that "Hitler was a vegetarian, too, you know"). But this book reminded me that some things are just wrong. Perhaps others disagree with me that animals have personalities, but the highly documented torture of animals is unacceptable, and the human cost Foer describes in his book, of which I was previously unaware, is universally compelling.

Nick Jonas' new band: "Nick Jonas and The Administration"; Jonas Brothers is not breaking up!

Lately, there's no exciting news about the Jonas Brother but in an interesting revelation by their mom Denise Jonas in Parade Magazine that her youngest Nick Jonas has formed a new band and a new album is coming out.

Denise said, "Nick is working on a solo act--it's called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He's at the photo shoot for the album cover right now."

Even though Nick is busy doing his solo activities, the Jonas Brothers is not breaking up!

The brothers wrote on MySpace blog:
WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP
Hey everyone!

#1 – The Jonas Brothers are NOT breaking up!

#2 – Nick Jonas IS working on a side project called

Nick Jonas & The Administration

#3 – This project will be released early in 2010

#4 - We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER!

#5 – We plan to make music together for as long as we can.

We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.

My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.

From Joe and Kevin:

We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. They are amazing works of art from an amazing talent…our brother. We will see you later this year, next year, and hopefully for the rest of our lives.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got the love ink

Still high in their whirlwind romance, newly weds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are sealing their love once again with matching tattoos on their hand (name initials) at at Tattoo Mania in Los Angeles. (October 24)
On Khloe's blog, she said: Saturday night Lamar and I were eating at Sunset Plaza and I just said, "Let's go to Tattoo Mania! I want a tattoo!" I think the best tattoo experiences are the spontaneous ones, because that way you are not only left with the tattoo, but an amazing memory to go along with it!

I'm definitely a believer in tattoos as long as they are thoughtful and have significant meaning, which all of mine do. On my wrist I have "I love you" in my father's handwriting and on my lower back I have a cross and angel wings with "Daddy" written above it in honor of my father and now I have my husband's initials "LO". Tattoos are something you'll have for the rest of your life so it's important to get one that truly means something to you.
When we were at dinner, I just knew I wanted a tattoo for Lamar in the web of my hand, and then once we got to the shop we decided on getting each other's initials. I got "LO" in cursive on my right hand and he got "KO" on both hands. I love how my tattoo flows with the one I already have. It's special to me, which is why I believe it's worth it when it symbolizes something or someone that is important to you.
I hope their relationship stay strong because many ex-couples regret it having the tattoo initials of their ex.

People Mag on the Wonder Girls: "5 Things to Know"

Korean Girl Group Wonder Girls are really pumping up and gaining popularity in the US aside from the overwhelming success they achieved in Asia.

In the Philippines, Kpop music are invading the airwaves and their single "Nobody" is a currently a dance craze.

People magazine wrote some facts about the charmingly sexy-stylish five ladies.
5 Things to Know About The Wonder Girls

1. They're tight with the JoBros:
The girl group lived the dream of tween girls everywhere: They spent almost two months with the Jonas Brothers as their opening act for the U.S. leg of their 2009 world tour. The girls bonded with the brothers on the road to the point that Joe has been spotted wearing the Wonder Girls shirt, and on Sun's birthday in August, the rock trio bought her a cake (cue adoring sighs). At the time, Sun tweeted, "The guys came to me and wished me a happy bday w/a gorgeous cake! Thank you to the Jonas Brothers for making my bday so special!!"

2. Their manager was a '90s megastar:
The man behind the group is a star in his own right. Singer-songwriter J.Y. Park became a K-pop sensation in the 1990s, releasing seven albums. He later opened an intensive music school called JYP Academy in Seoul where all five Wonder Girls studied before forming the group.

3. They are reality TV veterans:
The girls have already conquered the small screen. MTV Asia created a reality show about them called MTV Wonder Girls, which followed the group in their everyday lives. Also, Sun was the winner of the Korean equivalent of American Idol called Special Project: Developing a Genius before joining the Wonder Girls as the group's de facto leader.
4. They started an online dance craze:
Their popularity in Asia peaked when the video for their 2007 single "Tell Me" sparked a viral dance craze and inspired fans began to post their own renditions of the moves.

5. Yes, they like dressing alike:
With their '60s style bobs and doo-wop wardrobe, these sweet-faced girls embrace a retro-Motown vibe. The band told instyle.com that their main fashion inspirations are timeless style icons like Twiggy to Audrey Hepburn.
