According to Authorities via PEOPLE, LaBeouf may not have been at fault. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's said, "It appears he was not at fault," and "We have strong evidence that the other driver ran a red light."

Have you notice ABC-5's farewell message airing every day? Their are now closing the old chapters of ABC-5 history and they are now making way to much higher and more exciting shows.

ABC-5 company had entered into a "major blocktime agreement" with MPB Primedia, Inc., a Philippine corporation backed by Media Prima Berhad of Malaysia.

This agreement has resulted in a new look and a new target market for the broadcasting company. Starting August 9, ABC-5 will be known as TV5, a channel that promises to target "under-served demographic of 30 and below including those who are young at heart—generally the progressive Pinoys who are open to change and are willing to try new things and experiences."

TV5 will offer various show genres such as reality, drama, variety, teens & toons, and movies.

I know this new joint venture will be a fresh alternative to the country's two major networks (ABS-CBN and GMA-7).


The newly repositioned TV station will broadcast using a 120kW transmitter.

TV5 is a television channel brand of MPB Primedia, Inc., a Philippine domestic corporation, which entered into a long-term block air time agreement with Associated Broadcast Company, which is headed by Mr. Cojuangco.

Shia LaBeouf, who was busted for drunk driving after being involved in a car collision in Hollywood is now recovering from surgery from injuries he sustained to his left hand, head and knee.

Shia LaBeouf rep. said in a statement via PEOPLE.

"Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008," said Melissa Kates in the statement issued Sunday evening. Gillian Chung Yan-tung of Cantopop group Twins has expressed her pain, thoughts and shared her feelings in the recently released book, Angels on Earth. She talks about the sex-photo scandal and her "wrong love" for singer-actor Edison Chen, who took the scandalous photos.

Openly she said that she nearly lost her mind when the images circulated on the internet.

She said, "I wanted to leave the city immediately, to get away from everyone, but where could I go? My head exploded, I could only call my mother repeatedly, telling her I needed to rest, and cried day and night." Chung was the first involved party to talk publicly about the incident, but, instead of sympathy, she received scorn and mockery from the public. "When I said I was silly and naive, I didn't refer to the pictures I took; I meant I loved the wrong person".

On this traumatic experience she admitted that the scandal had put pressure on herself and Twins partner, Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin.

"Some people said I should no longer perform because I would affect the good name of Charlene. Others said I should do pornography ... I don't want her to shoulder my burdens."

The book is available at the Economic Digest booth for HK$54. Publishing manager Gary Fung Ka-wai said 400 copies of the book had been sold between Monday afternoon and yesterday.

AJ Banal's unblemished record was shattered by Panama's Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion by putting AJ into the canvas and captures the World Boxing Association (WBA) superfly interim title at Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City.

A determined and conditioned Concepcion started slow and was being out punched by Banal but in the later rounds he launched some blazing blows that gave pressure to AJ "Bazooka" Banal.

Even though Banal was leading on the three judges' scorecards, exhaustion caught Banal in the 10th round. Conception gave a solid right to the head of Banal for the knockdown.

After the successful ARMM mock election test run, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) tapped the services of actor Robin Padilla to promote the new technology (Optical Map Reader, OMR) for the automation polls of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) elections set on August 11.

Robin will still continue this voter's education campaign drive for the 2010 elections. ARMM will be the Philippines' testing ground for the automation of the whole country.

Robin Padilla, a Muslin convert, is reportedly paid 2 million pesos as talent fee which the actor donated to the Liwanag ng Kapayapaan foundation to help the education of 53 less fortunate children.

Varga was created by Komiks genius Mars Ravelo in 1947. This character is said to be the first and the original Darna. When Mars Ravelo left Bulaklak Magazine and work for Ace Publications he recreated the character that gave birth to Darna.

But their is some question about Mariel Rodriguez as Varga. Can she match the ratings set by Kapitan Boom?

Batman's latest installment "The Dark Knight" shattered box office records and set a new record for Single-Day Box Office Earnings, $66.4 million on opening day. The previous record of $59.8 million is set by Spider-Man 3 in 2007.

The Dark Knight also sets a record $155.34 million in weekend box office putting behind Spiderman 3's $151.1 million record in May 2007.

The buzz over Heath Ledger's performance as the "The Joker" in this film created interest to many moviegoers. His performance may land him a Academy Award nomination.

The Chinese government is on red alert on foreign artists and performers that will engaged in activities deemed to "threaten national sovereignty."

China's Ministry of Culture’s website issued a statement that they will ban any performance that might threaten national unity, stir ethnic hatred or violate Beijing's strict policy on state-approved religions and "cultural norms."

Heavy government critics like Sharon Stone and Steven Spielberg are surely included in the said ban.

Another artist is Bjork and her performance incident last March in which she yelled, "Tibet, Tibet, Tibet" after performing her song "Declare Independence".

The said ban will be one of their security measure against threats from unruly crowds and potential protesters.

Executive producer Gabe Sachs said during TCA, “Shannen Doherty will be returning to 90210”.

A lawsuit settlement was been reached between Verne "Mini Me" Troyer and porn broker Kevin Blatt, distributor of SugarDVD. Kevin Blatt camp agree that he will not distribute the sex tape between Troyer and his former girlfriend.

Verne filed a $20 million lawsuit against Kevin Blatt and TMZ Website after they upload/broadcast a small portion of the 50-minute tape last month.

On the said agreement, Blatt and SugarDVD have signed agreements requiring that they must get Troyer's approval before selling or distributing the tape or any images from it.

Troyer's camp is also planning to amend the lawsuit to prevent Mini Me's ex-girlfriend Ranae Shrider from releasing the said tape.

Earl "DMX" Simmons is tired of being DMX as he was busted again (not for drugs) at a Phoenix mall for giving a false name and Social Security number to a hospital to get out of paying for medical expenses.

DMX used the name "Troy Jones" in Scottsdale's Mayo Clinic in April and he didn't pay $7,500 bill that was charge to him, MyFox Phoenix reports.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said to press, "I don't know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond" he also added "I'm hoping this is the one time he's going to pay the penalty for his offense".

After the concert, Mia and Sunshine proceed backstage to meet their idol and to get a photo and an autograph.

Things, however, suddenly turn out badly as they witness Rochelle being kidnapped. Unable to do anything, Mia and Sunshine run for their lives. Being the only witnesses to the crime, their lives are in grave danger.

Mia and Sunshine hide in a place they think is safe—a container van headed to Manila.

The two friends wake up in an unfamiliar city. Disoriented and frightened, they aimlessly walk around until they reach a comedy bar with gay comedians. One of the performers sees them, and from then on, not only do their lives change—so will their gender.

Project Runway (Philippines Edition) are produced by Unitel Productions and presented by Solar Entertainment Corporation and it will premiere in ETC on July 30 at 10pm.

Lauren Conrad issued a statement via her Myspace blog regarding the Charity Controversy on the Animal Fair Media’s 2008 Annual “Paws For Style” happened at the Arena in New York City.

The controversy rumor is about the said charity funded her trip to New York City.

This is her statement via her blog:

I would like to address some of the internet rumors regarding what happened at an event I attended in New York on Tuesday. I was invited by "Animal Fair Magazine" to attend a charity event, "Paws For Style" fashion show. I have always been a supporter of animal causes. I own 2 rescue animals and this sounded like a great event. I agreed to pose for the cover of the magazine, host the event, do press at the event and donate clothing, all of which I did. I was not aware of any other commitments. I was not paid to attend the event and my hotel room was donated to the charity. I also made a voluntary donation to the Humane Society for more then the cost of my airfare so there would be no expense to the charity. I have always been responsible and keep my word on all commitments. I am extremely hurt and disappointed that Wendy Diamond would go to the press and attack me with untrue statements. Anyone who knows me, knows this is not the kind of person I am or who my parents raised me to be. It's just embarrassing that people are saying these things about me. I was trying to do a good thing and help out a charity by doing everything I agreed to do. I continue to support the Humane Society, as it is a wonderful organization.

Philippine action star and Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla partially announced his intention to run as the Vice President of the Philippines in 2010.

The good senator also announced that he is willingly give way and back down on the VP ambition if his fellow artist/close friends Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos decided to run on the same position.

Sen. Revilla said, “Kung talagang may clamor that’s the time for me to decide if ill run or not (as vice president). If Senator Jinggoy wants to run for vice president I’m willing to give way… same thing with Gov. V (Santos)".

Sen. Estrada and Governor V. are still undecided on their political ambition in 2010.

Funny couple Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have finally decided to called it quits. The relationship lasted five years according to Vanity Fair.

Kimmel’s rep Lewis Kay and Silverman’s rep Amy Zvi both confirmed that Jimmy and Sarah are no longer dating and issued a joint statement that “Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment.”

The highlight of their relationship is when they both created a separate funny video: Silverman performed a duet with actor Matt Damon on Kimmel's program in which she made a mock announcement to her boyfriend that she was cheating on him with Damon, the handsome star of the Jason Bourne spy movies.

After the never ending and repeated "Jolie gives birth news", Finally the reports is now confirmed. Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins, one boy and a baby girl.

PEOPLE has confirmed the report and they name the baby boy Knox Leon, and for the girl, Vivienne Marcheline.

Dr. Michael Sussmann in a statement, "The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly" and "Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well."

She gave birth at at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France by Cesarean section. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.

The plan on a Bruce Lee museum are being block by different problems. The house in which the legendary Kung Fu icon lived in (Kowloon Tong district) has created some argument between the government, martial arts fans and a billionaire businessman Yu Panglin.

After the government turn down the venture between them and Yu, the South China Morning Post reports that Yu is willing to take care the bill himself on condition that the government rewrites the planning regulations for the site. Yu, who said that he originally wanted to sell the house in order to raise funds for the Sichuan earthquake relief effort, now says any profits from the museum complex would go to charity.

At this time there is no clear plans or decision on Lee's museum plan.

Another beauty queen is under fire and joined other beauty queens in the hall of shame. Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto was sad over her leaked photo. The photo shows her with a friend doing the flipping bird sign while wearing her crown.

The Miss Washington Executive Field Director Mike Miller released a statement saying the organization is “embarrassed” by Umemoto’s actions.

In a recent UPDATE, Elyse Umemoto said in a press conference that the photo were "stolen electronically" by someone she trusted.

According to TMZ, Miss Bad Apple claims the photos were shot over two years ago, while she was Miss Seattle. The Executive Director of the pageant tells us the matter has been referred to authorities for investigation.

All the hard works of action superstar Jackie Chan will be immortalized in a new museum that will retrace chan's legendary career.

Jackie Chan personally picked the location at the Changfeng Ecology Commercial District in Shanghai's Putuo District in which will be named after him.

According to Sina.com, "Visitors will be able to retrace Chan's footsteps from Hong Kong to Hollywood, and navigate through detailed showpieces of Chan from being a Chinese icon, a kung-fu megastar to a charity devotee".

Inside the 3,100 square meters museum are some of Chan's film awards, as well as costumes and props he has used in movies and in TV. They expected to complete the museum on October 1 next year.

Meanwhile, he recently signed a contract in Yunnan Province for a Jackie Chan Peace Garden, which he will cooperate with the local government to promote "Environment, Friendship, and Charity."

Check out Matt Damon's first official picture of his upcoming new film Green Zone with Paul Greengrass doing his creativity.

Empire stated that this is Greengrass' take on the situation in Iraq. This is not like the other usual Iraq-centric films.

Green Zone is about a soldier stationed in Iraq after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and charged with finding weapons of mass destruction. Quickly suspecting that said WMDs don't actually exist, he seeks out the truth, with perilous results.

"[We're] not trying to make a statement," Damon tells us. "Particularly with a movie that costs $80 or $90 million. Hopefully this will feel like an accurate portrayal of what things were like for these guys. You can't do a polemic – you should be blogging if that's what you want to do."

Robby Navarro, the idol hopeful from Mandaluyong City got booted out. The 28-year-old singer is considered as one of the top contestant in this competition but the voters see otherwise.

To show that everyone must follow protocols even your a top news anchor, Ces Drilon was suspended by ABS-CBN for disobeying orders and guidelines on not to go to Indanan, Sulu where she sacrificed the security of her crew (cameramen Jimmy Encarnacion and Angelo Valderama) that resulted of their abduction by Abu Sayyaf group.

Ces Drilon is suspended for three months as news anchor of Bandila and as Senior Correspondent.

Ces said, “I respectfully accept the sanctions you deem proper in my disregard of your order. I cannot put into words how deeply I regret having put my team in danger … and having caused anxiety and stress to the whole organization.”

You can't fully blame her, a good correspondent will enter any danger zone so that he/she can get a great solid news for the public.

“It’s hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self. Appearing with Madonna would really kickstart her career again. She’s been there and done it so could provide some great guidance.”

The concert tour will kick off on August 23 and according to the British Sun that they are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop footage and will be broadcast during Madonna’s tour.

It has always been a dream of mine to start my own perfume business, since I love to mix fragrances together and come up with new and different scents! I hope you understand my total excitement as I let you, the readers of my blog, become the first to know that I am creating my own fragrance!!!

I have decided to work with New Wave Fragrances, who also distribute Ed Hardy and True Religions fragrances.

It all started when my mom introduced me to famous perfumer Caroline Sabas from Gras, France. She and I have been working together to create a scent that is uniquely me that I can share with everyone!

I have also hired local designer Scott Oshry to help me create the perfect bottle for my fragrance.

It is in the development stages, but we hope to have it in stores by next May - Mother’s Day! It will be available in the U.S., Germany, England, Australia and Japan.

Quezon City councilor and actress Aiko Melendez has won again one of her many court battles. This time Aiko was grated permanent protection order against her ex-husband/model Martin Jickain by Quezon City Regional Trial Court.

The details about the protection order dictates that Martin cannot come within 1,000 meters of Aiko, which is double the previous 500-meter limit of the temporary protection order. The fruit of their see-saw romance their daughter Marthena will remain with Aiko with Martin having three-hour visitation rights every Sunday.
